Sorry all to be discussing such a personal topic i just wondered whether im alone. My LO is 17 weeks old but i still cant use tampax. I have to remove it after about 5 mins at i can"feel" it and its uncomfortable. I discussed this on a recent smear test with a nurse who thinks it is a posychological problem but i know its not. She did point out that my cervix is slightly twisted which apparently is quite common after childbirth. I wonder whether this could be the cause of the problem? Does anyone else out there have any similar problems? Thanks

    Hi
I had this problem with my first period after i had my lo. He was about 10 weeks old. I felt like it wasnt in properly. I used towels from then on as was uncomfy. Have you had sex yet? i found after we had sex i could use tampons on next period. xx

    Hi,
Ive had sex once since the baby was born (is this sad?!) lol i did have the same problem just after my last period but maybe it'll sort itself out for my next one. Do you think it just takes longer for some people to return to "Normal" after delivery? Thanks

Personally i find lillets better they are thicker and small and i find them so much more comfortable and they don't leak like tampax does!
when my first af arrived last month i sent oh to buy some and i didn't think to tell him not to buy tampax, and what did he buy?
well they were horrible really uncomfortable and i leaked it was a nightmare so i went and bought lillets and was fine. x

i had that same thing it was awful, i could feel the cotton wool and it felt like it was falling out. cringe. i have no idea when it improved but everything is now fine and my LO is 5month. so it should go back to normal. i was very worried about this because i thought they're "ruined" my lady bits when stitching me back up and was devastated!! xx
