BE ate my reply!!I don't like to see posts unanswered so here goes!It depends on where you are going and type of food you are giving, i.e chicken needs to be piping hot, but just veggies stuff doesn't need to be piping, what I used to do was either ask the place to re-heat the food in their microwave, or give me a bowl of boiling water and I placed the bowl of food inside that so it just warms through.
Most places are quite happy to accommodate. It is much easier when they are on fingers foods like sarnies, pittas, cucumber, carrot sticks etc. Now I just make a packed lunch where ever we're going (unless its one of these activity centres where they say you must only eat food sold on premises and all they sell is rubbish food like chicken nuggets and chips!!
