    Hi all
Feel like an idiot asking such questions but really am unsure of what I can and can't take. I am living in Portugal and am looking to visiting family in the UK in April. Ellie will be 6 months old. Hoping to start weaning her before we go but was also wondering about taking boiled water and formula. What are the restrictions? Also can anyone recommend a lightweight pushchair I can buy to take with me?
Any other advice very much appreciated
    Thanks
    Tracey

Hi, I'm travelling back to the UK in March when my lo will be 11 weeks (I live in Norway) so have been looking up the same questions myself!! From what I have read you can take what you need to feed the baby but you may be asked to taste it. I was thinking about taking a sachet of SMA Gold and a bottle with 100ml of boiled water and an empty (sterilised bottle) in my case with a box of the pre-made formula to use on the other side incase we get delayed etc.

Can't help you on the pushchair I am afraid as we are just taking the car seat and the baby bjorn.

I will let you know if I have any problems with the formula on the flight!

Our Maclaren Techno XT's been on loads of flights and has lasted really well - sturdy yet lightweight.
We had to taste our lo's water in a bottle, to which we added measured out formula when he needed it. Cabin crew warmed it up in boiled water on the plane. Not sure whether they'll make you open a carton of ready made to taste? You wouldn't think so as it's sealed but you never know?!

I travel back and forth to Norway a lot with my lo and i usually buy ready made once we get through security. Not sure if this is possible in every airport. When its not been possible they have not asked to check the ready made and its been fine. x
