    PM
Charlotte seems to be getting really grumpy - I can't do anything right by her!! Getting me down now.
Seems to have started this week, she's 6 months tomorrow.

She even got grumpy in her pushchair this afternoon when we took her out for a walk and she normally likes it. Feeding her milk is a struggle (always has been though), but feeding her solids is still ok. She's also unsettled a little when going to bed, she used to go to sleep with almost no trouble, now it's a good half hour of re-plugging dummy to help settle her whichI know isn't long but she used to be off in 10 minutes without a dummy. She has also started waking early - at 5am but this morning it was at 4am. I didn't go into her as she wasn't crying or upset in any way and after half hour or so I think she went back to sleep.

She's also making a grunting noise quite a lot now and her face goes a bit red - a bit like she's constipated but I know she isn't as her poos the last few days have been runny and she's got a bit of nappy rash from it.

I'm just wondering if it's a phase she's going through or could this be down to teething?

I'm really not enjoying her at the moment which sounds awful but no matter what I do I can't seem to cheer her up!

Haha i know its not easy is it. I blame everthing on teething if it makes you feel any better it certainly makes me feel better, that way it makes me think she wont allways be like it.

She sounds a bit like my LO at the moment and I am 99% sure she is teething. Plus we both have a bit of a cold which doesnt help. My LO has woken at 5 am the past 2 mornings where as she normally wakes at 6.30. She just wants to get up and play! Have you tried the Ashton and Parsons teething granules? I gave them a go yesterday and Lily really calmed down within about 10 minutes.
Plus I must also say God Bless Calpol!

I bet she's teething! Awe her poor gummies hurt. Teething rings and baby orajel are great baby tylenol as well.

I've read before that when they act like that, it means something big is about to happen, maybe crawling or walking!

Try the teething products. Even though you may not be able to see the tooth/teeth pierce through the skin, the tooth can still bug and irritate under the gums.

Maybe she's still hungry too, or has an upset tummy??

My daughter was "colic" so we've been down this road and around the corner and back many times. The first 6 months were hard, she had lots of gas we changed formulas a zillion times before we found the right one, and ofcourse it was the most expensive! But it helped and that's what matters.

I hope you and your poor baby get better and find out what's bugging her.

Just incase, ask her pediatricion to check her ears, maybe she has an ear infection.. I hope not, but just incase!

Well last night Charlotte went to bed without any problems - straight to sleep with dummy. She didn't even protest whilst I dried her like she normally does. Sha has started a new set of babbles which sound more like words so maybe it is a phase?? She's also rolling a little more than she was and when on her tummy she kicks her legs loads and is sometimes drawing her knees up as though she wants to crawl!!
She did wake this morning at 6am doing her new set of babbles but I re-settled her with dummy then had to wake her at 8am!
I don't think she is poorly so I think it is a growing phase/spurt or developmental or teething!
I do have some Nelsons teething granules so might try them if she gets the grumps again
