hi girls!! need a bit of help please.... its my best friends 24th birthday in a few weeks she is 7 months pregnant... im really struggling to think of what to get her... she is very in to clothes and shoes but they are out the window at the mo.. she loves accessories but i cant seem to find anything nice so if ne1 has seen anything please share!!! i also always buy her accessories.. (xmas i bought her a box of like costume jewellery, beads etc..

i was thinking about some creams and pamper stuff for her bump but she suffers with itchy skin when preggers!!!

i really dont know!! i dont normally struggle to buy for her just this year i cant think!!!

any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Just to rub it in i have a spa day booked in 11 days for my 21st SIX AND A HALF HOURS of treatments i cant wait.

It doesnt even have to be a spa day as they can work out expensive, even if it was a facial or a body massage im sure she would love it...which girl doesnt?! and after the stresses of a baby i think we all need it!

Boots do some nice smellies for pregnant ladies. Brands like The Sanctuary do some good ones and Boots do their own brand too (I got both for my birthday when preggers last September and they are realy nice)! In fact I had my 20 week scan on my birthday so that was another great pressie!!!

Spa day is a good idea - but if you have one whilst preggers you would not be able to do everything & have all the treatments.

;\)could you do a "goodie bag"?

in a large gift bag (ideas only)

chocolate (not a birthday without that is it!!)
    book
    magazine
face / foot / hand pack
    small bottle of wine
    small costume jewellery
nail varnish / nail pamper kit
Avent (at Asda) mum-to-be gift set (think it now ??3 or ??4)
    small flowers
    cd

have got to be honest, i got one for my birthday off my friend (who knows me so well!), and i had a great time pulling everything out!! even tho' there was no "big" present, it was perfect and doesnt cost a lot to do.

instead of a gift bag, you could do a "hunt" in a box with lots of shredded paper so she keeps going in for things?

if you have access to it (prob find it on ebay) you could get the clear plastic that flowers come wrapped in, put coloured tissue inbetween, put your presents inside, then put big bow on.

    hope it helps ;\)

Ollier2001 what a great idea. Might have to steal that for my friend's birthday in August (although she's not pregnant so will miss the Avent products out - lol)!
