I have a little girl who is 4months and she has been a very fussy baby since birth its been colic, reflux, you name it she apparently had it.

She keeps coming out in tiny blister rash after she has had a feed. she has a spot on her arm and a couple of sweets on her face and she gets most on her hands.

Is this is a symptom of a formula milk allergies.

    Thanks in advance.

My baby boys are allergic to cows milk. However, excema was only one, and by nowhere the most serious, symptom. They had really awful tummy ache, which resulted in very very grumpy babies all the time, and the most horrendous nappies. They also suffer from reflux. Alfie's excema is really bad but Ryan's is only mild. They then refused formula totally and this was the point that I broke down and we were referred to the paed. This was after 10 or so weeks on formula and I just couldnt take anymore.

I would suggest writing down all the symptoms and go and see your GP.

    Good Luck

ds is cows milk intolerant, he too was wrongly said to have colic and reflux, it was only when he started losing weight and we changed doctors that soeone actually listened. he had green explosive nappies, rashes, screaming when he farted, rock solid tummy and just was not a very happy baby. he was put on soya milk and it all changed over night, we finally saw a paed at 6.5months who recommended we keep on the soya after the dietcian had put him ona specialist milk and it made it worse again. i wld suggest u speak to ur gp as it definately sounds like she's having a reaction to something. hwever austin's symptoms were from day one, and i was bf til he was 3 weeks and mixfed from then on, so it wasn't just a problem with formula, altho when i was mixfeeding and he was on oya i did have to cut out all dairy from my diet too.

    good luck xx
