hi ladies, the cot we are using for my 7 month old is falling to bits (its the cot i used as a baby) we brought a new matress for it but am struggling to find a second hand cot the same size to fit our mattress, so do you think it would be ok to but a bigger cot that comes with a second hand mattress??i would prefer not to pay out for another new one as money is pretty tight, but obviously if i shouldnt use a second hand one i will have to find the money.

    thanks
    ashy x

tbh I would not be happy in using a 2nd mattress, its not safe for your child no matter how much you save hun,

have a look at this websites for a good mattress http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-0433.aspx

thanks for your replies ladies, i will buy a new one, but can only afford 3??30-40 for the matress, its just annoying as the matress we have is only 3 months old and wasnt cheap, but there we go, i want me son to be safe so i will get a new one.
