Well I don't mean normal so much as usual.
When Maddie is led on the floor i quite often let her hold my fingers and help her into a sitting position but just recently when i have done this just as she is coming up to sitting she pushes her feet down and stands herslef up, she is only 24 weeks so i wasn't sure if this is usual and also if it is ok for her to do.
Has anyone else's lo done the same?

Thats good, the first time she did it i thought you shouldn't be doing that and then worried about if it would hurt her legs.
God i haven't stopped worrying since becoming a mum! lol

I think so too, since having it she doesn't want to sit on your lap and pushes herself to standing all the time.
She is so strong now it's a real struggle to hold her when she gets excited and i could never carry her round the shops like you see so many mums doing.

sonny has been doing this for a couple of months too. He loves standing & is alwasy trying to get himself standing rather than sitting. I have had people tell me "oh you shouldn't cause he will get bow legs" but imo he only stands as long as he can & wants & it's not like I have him standing all day, it is more like seconds to a couple of minutes a few times a day so don't worry about it as afaiac it is totally normal for them to be exploring their abilities.
