    Hi Ladies

Can anyone recommend a way of me trying to get our little boy to nap in his cot bed during the day ? He's fab at night and can self settle in it when swaddled. But I dont want to swaddle him in the day time aswell. He will nap in the car seta if we're out and on me, but i think he would nap so much better where there is no distrations.

    Any ideas ?

I didn't want to swaddle in the day either as we had stopped swaddling at night but I do now as she sleeps for much longer. I was dreading trying to get her to nap in cotbed as she was a dreadful sleeper in the day but it only actually took a couple of weeks to get used to it and now its where she sleeps best. I have a routine of half closing the curtains and laying her in the cot with her music box thing on then a bit of boobie in the chair, 5 mins cuddles on my shoulder and down in bed swaddled. I think a routine and sleep cues can be as important for naps as at night.

for us i dont wake him intentionally as no matter how long he sleep in the day hes the same at night, we usually have two 45 min naps in the afternoon and a 10 min snooze
