    Hi Ladies

Tyler is so much better now at night than he was but still wakes. He goes down at 7.30 then wakes at 12-12.30 for food, then again at 3.50, then at 0500 and is more or less up for the day then at 6. He isn't hunry at 3.50 just needs settling.

this is progress for us and i'm sure that with a little tweeking of his naps and bedtime he could go longer but he's also teething.

Just wondered if anyone else's LO's still wake during the night ?

p.bob - I DID NOT appreciate reading that! lol!

My boys are nearly 23 weeks and are up between 1 and 2 times a night. Theyre poorly at the moment, but we were down to once a night. Theyre up at 6am to start the day but are a struggle to keep up past 6pm!!

Yep! Beth is 6 months and wakes 1-3 times a night. Usually just once for food. Other times it's usually because she's got her head against the cot bars and needs moving or for new nappy or teething gel. Often she just wakes for an hours chat!

You're not, although I know it often feels like it!

All my NCT groups babies sleep through but only because they have left them to cry for HOURS so they do it. I have nothing against Controlled Crying but I do think when a baby is really little and could genuinely need food/attention at night it's a bit mean! I've heard stories of them leaving them for hours only to go in as they are truly hysterical to find they have their arm caught in the cot bars, or they've poo'd etc. Poor things.

Once Beth is well established on solids and I can 100% say she isn't hungry then I will start to consider properly working at getting her sleeping through (but then there will be seperation anxiety, crawling, standing, teething etc that will stuff it up so it hardly seems worth bothering until she's a year old! lol!)
