A couple of nights back i was on the phone to my mam, Hollie was standing up unaided and i was holding something in my hand. She decided that she wanted it and took a step to get it but fell. It took me by surprise and i didnt think she would do it again for a while.
Tonight though she was playing on the floor with Ian and she was standing up next to him, she took 3 steps then fell on her bum!!!! We were both amazed and burst out laughing and she too thought it was hilarious, so kept standing and falling.
My little girl has taken her first steps, i cant believe it only seems like yesterday she was a helpless newborn!

Go Hollie!!! What a clever little girl you are!!!!
It's amazing how our little girls seem to be doing everything at the same time!!! Aren't they growing uo just a little too quickly?? I was hoping that Bronwyn would wait until October when her daddy is back home! He has friends who's wifes have knocked their kids down to stop them from walking so that daddy gets to see the first steps. Gareth told me not to do that!!!
Does Hollie like being on her tippy toes? Bronwyn does and it looks really painful to me, it makes my eyes water!!!!!

Caroline they are both growing up far too quickly, especially when you think that this time last year they werent even born. Time is going to fast for my liking, we have got the video camera out the attic to start taking some films. My phone is full of pictures so cant take anymore, and my digital camera lead has gone astray so i have charged Ians camera up to keep taking pictures. You will have to just keep taking pics and videos of her so Gareth doesnt miss too much.
Hollie doesnt really go on tip toes but she does like to dance about. She loves it when we hold her hands so she can bounce and dance, but looses her balance when she tries it without holding hands.
Thanks Nicola and Cheryl, she is just so busy learning new things at the moment i cant believe how much she is changing.

Woweeeeee, well done Hollie
Karen, if you think she can get into mischief now just wait til she's steady on her feet
It's great though, Cameron's been far happier since he started walking!! I think he was starting to get so frustrated when he couldn't get to things, now he's into everything!!
