Hi everyone.  My little one is now 16 weeks and she is turning on her side to sleep, moving around the floor on her own, almost rolling on to her front and trying to walk when I hold her up.  She has also been dribbling and chewing her hands since she was 11 weeks. Is this normal for her age?!  I only have my son to judge her by and as he was prem I don't really know how he was doing in comparison to 'normal' babies.  What were yours up to at the same age?

Simone it was less time for me but i cant remember either, although yes Hollie was dribbling and btinig her hands a lot at that age. The hv said it was because she was discovering her hands.

I can only remember what Bon was up to as we had a very busy year, going to all sorts of places and various family events so lots has stuck in the memory from that first year.  The rest is more of a blur!  I'm going to see the HVs tomorrow to get her weighed and check she is still on track after our hols.  I have no concerns, more jabs due next week, but I'd like to know.

Tasha, Bon is doing fine, he is back to nursery today and a trip to the local softplay centre and a trip to the city farm on Wednesday and his first packed lunch!  Sadly it is forecast to rain that day so I am hoping they get it wrong and it is fine for them.

Hi, jd started to chew his hands at about 3 months and has done it ever since and started to dribble bout the same time too. He started to roll over bout 4 months but has only just learnt how to roll back over again. He doesn't reallt take weight on his legs tho yet but he's sitting up without assistance and is pushing himself along on the floor. Think every baby is different and all develop at their own pace x

    Nicolette,

    Boy has time flown!!!!!!

Bronwyn was teething by 4 months so she was chewing and dribbling by then. I'd say its normal! It sounds like Catalina is doing really well, any chance of an update pic??
