Just wondering if anyone had any experience of these? Are they worth the money? I just thought they look a little flimsy?

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Coleman-Sundome-Guard-Beach-Shelter/dp/B0030BG9VA/ref=pd_sim_sbs_lp_3

We go away to Greece soon and I know a parasol will offer some shade but this shelter offers some wind protection too which a parasol wouldn't plus I like the fact you can zip it up which would be good for messy nappy changes as no-one wants to witness that! he he. It's easily transportable so can use it for picnics & at home in the garden but if they're no good then I'd rather not waste my money so any reviews welcome.

    Thanks ladies

Hi Floss78 - I've just bought one of these on ebay - http://protectbeach.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=8 to take with us to Fuerteventura next month. Obviously haven't used it but it's a good size, transportable and really really really easy to get up. I can see us using it for holidays/garden/picnics for a good few years so I don't think it's a waste of money really. Also on ebay you can get a 2nd hand one cheaper which we did. Don't know above the Coleman Sundome specifically but I think in general UV tents are a good baby buy! x

    Thanks for the input ladies.

Flimpo - I've browsed E-Bay but they're all a similar price to Amazon plus you usually have to pay postage on E-Bay whereas Amazon, more often than not is free. I particularly like the Coleman one and there aren't any second hand ones on E-Bay (gggrrr) and the new ones are well dearer than Amazon!

Tink-a-belle - I think the Arc one is quite funky although we already have a travel cot so not really practical for us to get that one. I think it's fab for camping as you say so would be a good buy if you like your outdoor pursuits.

I've shown hubby and he said to order it so order it I shall! Yay! We'll get loads of use out of it as our garden is a proper suntrap
