My baby is teething and has trouble settling she has recently been having a temperature at night and a cold that will not go away for months. Any suggestions of what i should do. What problems are your babies experiencing?

i guess you are using bonjela/teething gel, calpol and/or calprofen? also teething rings/ toys she can chew on. i'm afraid theres not much else you can do, being a mummy you want to take the pain away but all you can do is cuddle them! i've been recommended echinacea for my lo, not sure on age you can use it from, to help with colds. also propping up mattress when they in their cot and baby olbas oil will help her breathe, especially if she uses dummy or sucks thumb.

Like curlyclaire said, I found that propping up LO's cot at the head end helped with the stuffy nose. I just use a couple of drops of regular Albas oil on a tissue next to the cot (but out of LO's reach).
If your LO is really bad then you can alternate Calpol and Calprofen at 3 hourly intervals but I wouldn't recommend doing this for more than 2 days. Calpol is more effective at reducing temp while Calprofen is a better painkiller and works faster.
Teeth are just the most awful thing, I wish they'd just all come through at once so we had one terrible week but that was it. Instead its on-and-off for bloody months!! Gahhh!

Could you try an ice pop? I find lo sucks on it and it numbs her gums and she can settle for a while. x
