    hi ladies
popping over from preg forum - hope you don't mind

i'm 30 weeks tm and i know this is a little early but i need some advice on nursing bras

i'm normally a 32e, gone up to a 34f in preg althou they look v dinky in comparison with my bump lol
and i found it hard to get nice maternity bras which didn;t cost the earth and ive started looking at nursing bras and realised the same, but my prob is i really don't know what im supposed to be looking for with nursing bras

i am hoping to breastfeed but people have said not worth buying 3-4 weeks before birth, as the advice is, as you don't know if you'll have enough milk to feed. hmph! but then if i do, i wont have any suitable bras for if iam breastfeeding and will have to hit the shops straight after birth ;-(

what did you guys do?? oualso what sizes did you buy - ie how many sizes up are you supposed to go and how soon after do you need to change again. i love the hotmilk range but i'm sure i read somewhere its only a little while until you go back to normal size even if still feeding so spending a fortune on nursing bras seems a shame if this is true but somehow cant see it!! midwife wasnt all that helpful - i guess cos it's so early on

    advice req'd please!!

I think I went up a bra and cup size from 36d to 38 E. I went to M&S and got measured at 38 weeks which is ideal. I can't remember if I am meant to go back now and get remeasured.

I bought some lovely bras at 38 weeks but grew out of the cup size by the time LO was 5 weeks. I would buy some cheap ones whilst pregnant and get resized when your milk is definitely in at about 1 month (I had 2 big increases at 3 days and 5 weeks). You will then know if you are BF and can buy some nicer, pricier ones.
