Today is Gareth's last day on leave, he goes back to his ship at lunch time.

Well, that's what time we drive to the airport.

I probably won't get online this evening as we won't get back until between 10pm and midnight. Typically Bronwyn was ready to get up before 7 this morning so no lie in for me! I am likely to be shattered by this evening!

Have a safe journey to the airport and back today and i hope Gareth and a safe journey to his ship and that the time apart passes quickly for you all.

As Zoe says, we'll be here for you i know you're independant and will be fine on your own but every girl needs a good natter!!!!

Once today is over and done with I will be fine!! Its just the goodbyes that I hate!! I would prefer him to get the train but as I wanted to collect him from Heathrow when he arrived, I have to take him back today!!The3 4 hour drive back will be a nightmare, I am hoping that Bronwyn sleeps for the journey!

Oh Caroline.

At least you had a lovely chistmas day together. And you can take comfort in knowing that there wont be many more goodbyes after this one, as in 10 months time he'll be all yours.

Hi Caroline. Hope the journey isn't too bad, I can imagine the return trip without Gareth will be rather bleak, but you have Bronwyn to distract you and it won't be so long before Gareth is back for good. Find ways to enjoy the time you have alone with Bronwyn, then the time will go quicker, and we are always here to natter to and offer sympathy.

Hi Guys! Thanks again for your messages of support. Some of you made me cry this morning but I am less emotional now!

I am back from my epic drive to Heathrow and back! Its flipping freezing out there!! You may be wondering why I am online at 11.40pm, well I am having a snack and waiting for Bronwyn to settle down. Bless her, she has been amazing! Slept for 90% of the journey, cried for about 5% and chatted for the rest! What a star! I am just hoping that she sleeps well tonight!!

Gareth is safely back on his ship and Bronwyn and I are back into our usual routine. Last night was probably the best nights sleep I've had in a while (4 weeks to be precise)!!!! No waking up at 3am to find my arm has gone dead due to gareth rolling on to it in his sleep!

Today has been a chill out day, was supposed to have a massage this afternoon but the therapist had vanished!! Tomorrow is getting the house back to normal, oh joy!!!
