My mum is 60 on the 17th. Any ideas of what i might get her? She has most things so me, bro and sis have decided to chip in together so we can get her something special.Any ideas? Thanks

How about a pampering session at Forest Pines, they are fantastic.

I like that idea too Caroline!

Is there any experience she may have always wanted to do such as a hot air balloon flight?

Or what about a day trip to london, see a west end show then perhaps afternoon tea at somewhere posh like the ritz, actually maybe that's just my dream day!!!!

Oh Tasha, I'd come with you on that.

How about organising a family portrait? You, your brother, sister and/or your mum and dad and any grandchildren they have?

Caroline's idea is a good one too.

What ever you decide to do have a fab time.

Zoe xx

Andrea, Bronwyn and I had our portrait done at CeeJays in Ashby a few weeks ago, they are fantastic and he takes loads for you to choose from. The only downside is the price. A 6x8 print is costing me £27!! However, if its a treat it would be well worth it!

There is also a new studio that has been set up on Southpark Industrial Estate in Scunthorpe, they seem to be slightly cheaper but I have no idea what the quality is like!

tea at The Ritz is a wonderful experience - we took my mum there one year and then my stepdad paid for theatre tickets for us all to go to after we had tea

for my mum's 60th we threw her a surprise party - nothing flash just the function room at a pub but she knew nothing about it and we invited all her oldest and closest friends as well as family - what we didn't realise was that she had never had a birthday party before and it became all the more significant as by her birthday the following year both her parents had died

or maybe a family meal?

a lovely piece of jewelry - maybe something you could get engraved

a family weekend break somewhere?

Is there anything bizzar she wants to do.

My mums biggest want is to do a safari(mainly for the elephants)but that would cost and arm and a leg so instead me and adi are saving to send her to the zoo for the day as a zoo keeper, she can get upclose and personal then.
