Hi Boo,
Just read about the trouble on the M42 today and know you were off to Warwick for the weekend, so just wanted to check you were alright and that you had missed all what happened.
Not 100% sure you would have used the M42 to get there anyway, but just wanted to make sure.
Hope you're ok.

Trip was ok -ish. Did'nt see any traffic! Came down with nasty flu virus ( and the children did aswell) and have been vomiting, aching and having massive stomach cramps for days. Very wobbily today as I have'nt eaten for days but Zoe is bubbly now she seems to have got over the flu and thought I would take her to toddler group this morning. She is really shattered now and I am too. Think it'll take me a few days to get my strength back after not eating for 4 days.

Oh Boo, I hate it when the children are sick. I hope you get an explanation for it and she picks up soon.

Take care, Zoe xx

Well apparently it's a nasty 'virus' which I could have probably told you but she's had it for 6 days now with virtually no food kept down and she is very weak which i was worried about. He did say it was good I brought her in as after that length of time it's best to see if it is anything else that is affecting her but so far nothing can be found. I am hoping it clears up at the weekend. At least he did'nt tell me she was'nt allowed to eat - I have been trying to keep her on bland foods the last few days and my mum says she should'nt eat for 48 hours but I just could'nt do it. When she begs me for food even though she has just been sick and emptied her tummy I have to give her something even if it's only a dry cracker or two.

They always say it's a virus!
I would be the same Boo, if she asks for food how can you say no!

Hi Boo, sorry to jump in on the conversation, just reading bout Zoe. Poor thing!!
Hope she soon feels better.
Doesnt it just get right on your nerves that the docs diagnose everything as a viral infection?

I agree with not keeping food from her. Its horrible to see your kids poorly, if shes asking for food, shes obviously wanting it.

Take care

It's saturday and she was sick last night and sick again today She looks very pale and she's having a large nap in the afternoon (which she does'nt have any more ususally) as she's so knackered.

Oh Boo poor little Zoe.
Are you going to take her back to the Docs?

Will do if she does'nt get better this weekend. I suppose there is not much more they can do except give her those nasty sugar/salt water sachets or send to hospital.
