Are any other mums going to the baby show this year?  Have never been myself and really excited about it.  Has anyone been before?  Can't wait to get there and maybe test out some stuff and - the ultimate joy of these things - get some freebies!  Oh dear I am a freebie addict lol!

Hi Sarah,

Which show are you going to?

I've never been before but hoping if I am pregnant by the time the next one comes along I will have a excuse to go

Sarah, don't get too excited about the freebies!

We went to the one at the NEC in Birmingham and had been told about the freebies by friends and was very disappointed by what was offered! I think I got 2 pots of baby food, a disposable bib, 2 nappies, fabric conditioner and persil, 2 cheap and not very nice baby t-shirts!  Which, after paying £8 to park the car, was gutting!!!

oh don't ruin my illusions, lol! The bounty packs have really gone down hill now too!  You used to get lots of different shower gels and baby baths etc but now you just get those sachet things that you can get in expensive magazines lol.  I still want to go though and have a look at some things I'm thinking of buying.  We'll be going to the Earls Court one in October (hopefully)!  As for wedding show...still waiting for that one!  Have a nice day planned for Saturday - going to see Carmen at Leeds Castle so you never know, could be the right setting...

Hi Sarah, ive been to 3 baby shows in the NEC. The first 2 were definitely better than this year. we got tonnes of freebies but as caroline said, not many this time.

Saying that, i still think its a great idea to go just to get ideas and hey,its a day out isnt it??

hope you enjoy it.

kas xx
