christmas

Christmas is coming, christmas is coming and im getting fat. oopps i mean the goose is getting fat.

Well im getting so excited that christmas is only 4 months away.  I've started buying christmas pressy's already.

Im such a big kid when it comes to christmas, i always have been.  I love family at christmas.]

What do you all think of christmas?  Do you have any traditions?

I have a few. One, is my stocking still has to be done even though im now 27. Robert didnt do it the first year we got togeather and i got really upset.

Another is i like to have a chocky santa and a chock terry orange.

We have a new one as a family, robert's dad is on his own so every christmas morning he come's to our house and has breakfast with us, usually we have samon and scrambled egg on toast.

It would be nice to hear your traditions and swop them around with each other

I to love christmas and adi is a big big kid when it come to christmas,his worse than a kid.lol.

We didnt have a stocking for riley last yr as he was still young,we will defo do one this yr and always get little tree pressies for each over. Last yr was our 1st own family christmas as we have always gone to my mums. Looking more forward to it this y as riley has the idea now of what happens and will get more excited.

I have already started my shopping,got a few bits v.v.early this yr and have been picking up small bits throughout the last few mths. Have got little token things for the family as there are so many on just my side. Have got a few scarfs(sp)for chelsea(my mums now FD)she's into them and found some nice ones on sale in superdrugs,will do her nice as it will be her 1st propper family christmas bless her.

Pauline i have had o control hubby with QVC,he loves it. lol.

That sounds lovely.

Because we dont have a chimny i brought a special key,  a proper old fashioned mettle key that is for  farther christmas so Jared put's the key in the garden christmas eve just befor he goes to bed and then farther christmas put's it on his pressy's for him.

Last year was the first time we did the key and jared's face in the morning when he saw key was lovely. The first thing he said was "He left it mummy, he left it.".

We go to the in-laws most the time but if christmas falls right then we go to my mum's in bedford.  I say falls right because i work in boots i work right up to christmas eve so is it falls on a weekend then it's fine.

I have to multi task with xmas as i have adi's and rileys b-day to concider as well with them being the 8th and 21st dec.

I love xmas too, i'm just like a big kid!!!!

We've got a chimney so although Cameron was only 8 months last year we still put santa's milk and mince pie on a wee plate on the hearth for him!! I took a pic of the empty glass and plate in the morning to put in his 1st xmas book  (how sad am i??!)

This year i'm going to get a new tree, our old one's only about 3ft tall and quite pathetic!!!! Time for an absolutely massive one, me thinks!!!!

Babymama so sorry to hear what you went through,not on a personal basis but i can understand how hard it must be for you(i no someone who suffered the same thing till they were 14)

I dont like shops trying to put xmas out in nov but i throw myself into xmas shopping and b-day shopping as my grandad went into hossy on 21st dec(hubbys b-day)and they didn't expect him to make it past xmas,he did and sadly died on 8th jan(my eldest nephews -day)its hard sometimes.

We all have different oppinions about when to start xmas shopping but all have the best intentions.
