Hi Tasha,

Me and the OH stayed at home - first time we have done that as usually we go to my parents or his.

Feel so knackered but guessing thats because we haven't done anything for the last few days

Hi Sarah,

sounds like you had a nice day. We've only been on our own at home once (pre kids) but we actually got bored!! It's always the way isn't it? the less you do the more tired you are!!!!

We've had a busy day today, we went out for lunch with all my mums side of the family it was manic but nice some of them had never met amber so that was special.

How long are you off work for? xxx

Morning Tasha,

Yeah must admit it did get a bit boring - really hoping next christmas there will be three of us - so we'll see.

Sounds like you had a lovely day - did your little'uns enjoy it?

I go back to work on the 3rd January - which I'm not looking forward to - but also as part of my job I need to still log in from home to keep an eye on things (hoping by doing this - when we do have kiddies I can work from home)

Morning sarah

It's nice now PP's getting busier again isn't it?!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that this time next year you'll be a family of 3! How long have you been trying for? I understand how you feel with the waiting for it to happen 4 years ago on Christmas day my AF came after trying for 9 months and i was gutted then 2 weeks later i was pregnant! Unfortunately i lost that baby but by the following christmas i was heavily pregnant and very happy!!!!

My two loved their day! especially Ethan as he seemed to understand the magic of it this year and was very excited the whole day! He was very polite opening his presents and after each one said, thats what i wanted!!! it was very cute!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your time off work, do you have much planned? x

Yeah its nice talking to people and reading there stories.
We've only been trying for a month - af came to visit recently - so no luck at the mo - but i'm prepared that we may have to wait a little while etc - Only thing is i'm the most impatient person in the world lol - we shall have to wait and see I guess

Ahh Ethan sounds soooo cute and sweet - he sounds like hes going to be a credit to you and I'm sure Amber will love Christmas just as much next year.

Nothing planned really - just a break from work - my OH owns a plumbing business so really got to catch up with the accounts and invoicing - which is always a bore and want to try and sort our spare room out. We are doing our house us the mo so gotta get my butt in gear

How about you - any plans for the rest christmas and new year?

Ethan may sound cute but he's a little monkey!! ! Saying that, his manners are good and he's very loving, he's just a bit naughty!!!

We've not much planned for the rest of the christmas break, Hubby has to work tomorrow but is then off until the 2nd (although he's then going on business to china on the 6th ). I'll probably attempt some sale shopping tomorrow with the kids but then we have nothing planned at all, which is lovely!!! I really want to do something on new years eve this year but with 2 little ones thats probably impossible and i'll end up tucked up in bed at 10!!

So Ethan is pretty typicle of a 2 yr old - trying the boundaries etc - my niece is 5 and she still trys it on

What does your hubby do for a living? China sounds very exciting - I have been to maylaysia where we went to Singapose - would like to do China and Tokyo.

Same here on the new years front - was thinking about having a party but don't think we will bother? Need to find someone else to have a party

Hehe yes i guess Ethan is a typical 2 year old! It's just tiring with a 2 yr old and a baby also amber has severe dietry problems so that makes things harder, wouldn't be without them of course though!

Gillan (hubby) is an automation control engineer, he works for his parents business and has drawn the short straw for going away! He'll barely get to see any of Zhuhai in china and its only for a week most of which is travelling. He's got to train some staff to operate a machine but they dont speak english and he only knows hello in chinese so it could be interesting!! I'm dreading being on my own with the little ones for that long i'll be on pp even more than normal!

Tasha,

It may seem like a long time to be on your own but if you plan a few things then the time can pass quickly. I'm sure you will be fine, and like always, we'll be here for you to 'talk' to.

Hi Sarah,

Hope you are ok. I'm sorry Christmas wasn't so good for you but like you say that all changes when you have children so next year will be fab.

Have you managed to make plans for New Year? I'm being brave and having James family round. We can't go anywhere so we thought if they come to us the kids can go to bed when they are ready ( the later the better), i'll do a buffet, nothing fancy, it should be ok. It's worth a go.

Chat to you both soon,

Zoe xx

Tasha - As Zoe says i'm sure if you plan some things to do with the kids - the time will go alot quicker and of course PP will be here if you need to talk - I'll be about in the evenings

Hi Zoe, No plans for new Year - still can't decide what to do - we shall see I guess - I did fancy doing a buffett and having people over but not sure if I can be bothered to entertain

Thankyou both of you i will definately be on pp for chats! I don't really mind him going it's just so far away!! He is getting one day off to go round Zuhaiso i've demanded presents for me and the kids!

My twin has invited me to stay with her that week for a couple of nights, she lives near to a designer outlet and we both fancy a big shopping trip so I may do that! Also some of my girlfriends are desperate to come round for a girly night! Shame my cyber buddies can't come too!!
