Paula,
I DO love him! I have a honey coloured staffie called wait for it.........Honey. We mated her with a blue Irish staff twice (7 pups one litter, 9 the second litter) and she had blue, biscuit, black/white and brindle pups. We kept a blue girl until she was nearly three but had to give her to a friend as she was fighting for dominance with her mum and it just wasn't fair on Honey (we were all very upset). We then mated her once with a friend's staff the same colour as her and we had brown and biscuit coloured pups (8, I think). She was a brilliant mum each time. After they were all gone and she was done having pups she became v.lonely. So about 6 months ago we got a puppy chihuaha (sp). They get on brill and are good company for each other. We also have a cat, rabbit, guinea pig and fish they all get on fine, but my staffie is like a baby to me. She is very good and protective towards the kids.
The only thing with staffs is that they are stubborn and take longer to train than some other breeds. They are a bit destructive do as she has eaten two stair carpets, a garage door and a dining room suite! I guess you have found this out for yourself though. Lol. Sorry for the essay but just had to say Butch is gorgeous!
