Fashion Crisis!!!!

It's my Grandad's 80th Birthday today, we are all going to my grandparents house on Saturday tea time for a buffet and cake. They have no idea that I am pregnant and I want to hide it from them as it's grandad's day!

The only baggy top that I own says "this bump rocks" on it!!!!! Short of wearing a sack I am completely stuck!!"

Oh bless you Caroline!! I had a similar problem when i was 11 weeks and went to visit a friend who was struggling to concieve, i wrapped a cardigan round me but she guessed straight away!!

Do you have a wrap around top you could wear? xxx

I look pregnant in everything bar one of my large football shirts!!!! I guess i'll just have to hope that no-one notices!!!!

Um what a pickle then,have you got a local tescos with the cloths section as they do have some nice tops and a sale on at the mo.

Hope you dont get busted or if you do it will be a double celebration.

a friend of mine got away with being 'bloated' till she was 5 months pregnant, even her mum believed her!

It wouldn't be a double celebration at all!!! They said I was stupid when I announced that I was pregnant with Bronwyn!!!! They love her now, of course!!!

I will manage to find something in the deepest darkest depths of my wardrobe!!!

oh er thats a bit of a dilema - how about a kaftan sorta top which is flowy and not tight and if you get a dark one you will look slimmer.

Hi Caroline, i was very pleased with myself as a bought a lovely flowy tunicy top in QS it was £8 with 20% off, I put it on today with my baggy white linen trousers nice and cool and comfy. Till Terry said I looked about 6months pregnant. I bought it as I had hoped it would cover my tummy. I wore it anyway, I've been v.comfy all day who cares what I look like, I've got my man now!!!

mmm i'm inclined to say raid tesco or asda for a nice cheapy top that you never have to wear again if you just want to hide it for sat they have some lovely linen stuff at the mo!...just say you are bloated..delayed reaction from Bronwyn????

Caroline all those tops out now make you look pregnant whether you are or not so i wouldn't worry bout that just look horrified if anyone asks and say its wind!

I just need to charge up my camera and empty the memory card as its a tad full!!!

Due to my sicky feelng and not being able to eat much as I get full really quickly I have a feeling my bump is shrinkng rather than expanding!!!!
