We moved house nearly 5 months ago,and the digraceful truth is we're still not unpacked. For the last two days I've been excavating what issupposed to be and soon will be a utility room.
Any and everything is dumped here, don't know where to put it,it ends up here. The floor had big boxes of junk, the work tops were so high with junk it was at the stage where I had to throw stuff on it was too high to reach.
In the last two days I have found 5 screwdivers,2 drills,2 stairgate spanners, around 500 screw/nuts/bolts,6 bottles of loo cleaner,4 bottles of dettol spray,2 cillit bang all purpose, two deodorants,5 bottle of handwash,a bottle of softwash,3 new pads of A4 paper,30 odd colouring books, miscellaneous missing toy parts and £2.11 in 1s,2s,5s,10,and 20s.
Treasure. Can't believe there was that much useful stuff just lurking under a pile of junk.
3 black sacks of rubbish went out.Now it'll take another two days to sort what's left
blimey!! weve had that before, used our airing cupboard as a chuck em and found 32 toilet rolls, none in packs!!!
30 colouring books!
I did.I found Blue Elephant, been missing for months. So excited I started on the cellar.Very damp and cold down there, not a lot has survived.Lots will be going in the bin but I did rescue my old Graco Mirage. That's been one of my favourites.
Found another load of coins.£4 in 1p coins bagged up for the bank, and probably the same again in loose 1ps.CBA to count it.
Got to get it sorted down there, things are just going mouldy.
HSBC has a money counting machine in store we use, just swipe your card chuck change in and its in the account in 24hrs!
cant imagine many cellars are nice and cosy, wouldnt fancy that job,
was blue elephant loved by someone?
It's the Leapfrog one.It was Matilda's favourite toy,and mine too.He sings a little song when you spin a wheel on his tummy.
There's a playpen hiding in the cellar. Not found that yet
OMG-LIKE MY HEFALUMP?????
I am an elephant flappin my ears? I am an elephant swinging my trunk? my ears and nose, and mouth and eyes are on my head that's no suprise-I'm your elephant!!!! Is that the fella??????
I LOVE mine(joseff thinks it's his)
Oh, jack had the lion, no idea what happened to him it got on roos nerves so maybe it was baby toy that 'got lost' in the loft.
oh a playpen i can imagine thats a handy thing to have when another one starts moving! lolas shuffling at a great speed, and daily i threaten to get the travel cot out!
Today she grabbed jacks fruit and rubbed blueberries in the carpet, and then, then she had to sit in them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank god my mum hoarded all my sisters clothes lolas just inherited a HUGE amount of next boden gap clothes TWO boxes were the size she is in now theres 6 more in the loft upto age 3!!! About 2 things look worn!
Whey hey you're lucky-Lola will never need new stuff for ages!!!
That'sthe song,Rachel.I'm singing it all day.We have the lion too.Don't like him as much.
Iwas Humphrey obsessed when Arthur was born.He had a lullaby soft toy,a cot light/music box, changing box, towels, clothes. There was a really cute little outfit in newborn size but it was too warm for Merlin to wear it
i know, she was desperate, and i got a few bits all the same colours etc so i can mix and match as much so new outfits iyswim!
And mum goes here you go, 3 hours it took us to sort it!!! She had all the gorgeous next fairys stuff, they dont do anymore, and all the stuff i brought her that i liked is a bonus, she must have been such a clean toddler, one of her fave tops is spotless and she gets so excited seeing lola wear stuff she has on in pictures, i pass all jacks stuff to mum for tom its handy!
im slow tonight!
I love humphreys corner, esp the baby jack stuff, i got loads for jack in mothercare sale, i kept it ALL, lolas in jacks old cot which is mothercares humphrey one, we wanted the whole nursery but after getting the cot had a heart attack at the price of the stuff!
I've not been 'into'any range really-sad. There are some gorgeous ranges out there tho. Oh I love the songs on that hefalump-and the godnight one is sooo sweet. Might just give his tum a roll in a bit!!!!!
That must be mega handy Lau,swapping stuff with your ma,saves you pair loads!!!!
Jo,your cute outfit will keep for no 8 no?
i sold all of jacks clothes upto 12mnths a month or so back, i sobbed like a baby, i did keep special stuff, but so many things i see in pics make me mushy and theyre gone! daft sod!
my current obsessions with the kids is mothercares purple and orange range for the bean
and duffer st george/ted baker for jack, although he was FAR more excited by a buzz tshirt he found at asda!
Have you seen the Mothercare babygros.Matilda has the vests and babygros with lairy flowers and bright stripes, and babygros with little mice and flowers and things.Very cute,I had to contain myself.Too many choices.Must NOT go to Mothercare on line
The Humphrey outfit's a definate boy one. We're not due another boy till number ten,and he hasto be a winter baby, cos the jumper part is asort of fleecy material.
mothercare baby grows are gorgeous atm, so bright and different, jack has the bright yellow and navy striped ones (dont know what the other two look like brain like a seive)
lolas personality just doesnt suit all the mue pastels that are around, shes currently in my sisters pjs and we started buying unisex when she was born for jack so they share (yes theyre in the same size )
lola has these http://www.mothercare.com/Long-Sleeve-Roll-Neck-Top-2-Pack/dp/B002FGBF9C/sr=1-10/qid=1254521316/ref=sr_1_10/278-3410357-1000535?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=76100031&mcb=core the range is lovely those pics are pants but she has a lovely skirt with orange tights lovely autumnal colours!
that ones better it ties the whole range in, there pics on the site are SO dull compared to how they are in real life
Couldn't make the link work so I went to mothercare site and just browsed. No shopping this week.I spent too much yesterday up Toys R Us.
I'm sure Merlin will be growing soon
Am I just missing it or does Gap have no online store?
