Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a good day and a nice weekend. What is the weather like with you, we have sun at the moment.
Yesterday we had a lovely day which was spent outside down my parents. Ian has bought a huge bouncy castle, 21 foot by 25 foot, so he put that up and we were on it all day. Hollie went on it too and absolutely loved it, we had the biggest smiles from her. It was really nice to see after such a hard few nights with her teething. The weather was brilliant very warm and so it made it a really lovely day. And what's more is that she slept last night, woohoo. We put her cot back in her room again and she slept from 9.30-4, had a quick feed then slept til 7.50am. So we finally got some sleep again and hoping she is back to sleeping a bit better, even though her teeth still aren't through.

Hope you are all enjoying your day and the weather is nice with you too.

Karen xx

Hi Karen,

Wow, sounds like you had a good day yesterday with the bouncy castle. Did you get any photo's of Hollie on it?

We had a really good weekend. I'm still full of cold but have to carry on!! Yesterday we had loads of fun. We went to Sheffield Stock car racing and it was Jack's first meeting of the new season so he was full of it.

Picking Charl up from nursery soon so just catching up on here as haven't been on much over the weekend.

Glad you are all ok. xx

Hiya Karen

Sounds like your weekend was just what you needed after a difficult few nights and i'm really pleased for you that Hollie had a good nights sleep!!!!

We had a good weekend thanks. I was shopping with my big sis on Saturday, i spent far too much and i'm trying to keep that a secret from John!!! The weather was awful on Sunday so we did the food shopping and then had a quiet afternoon.

It's lovely today, think we'll go for a nice walk later.

Take care xx

The weather here today is horrible, but yesterday it was lovely and it was still light at seven, roll on the warm weather so i can sit outside of an evening with my glass of wine!

Hi,

We have just had a lovely walk. Hollie stayed awake the whole 2 hours by holding the side of her pushchair and leaning forwards. She got tired a few times so dropped back for a minutes rest then leant forwards again. Looks like sleeping in the buggy is not an option anymore lol.

Zoe, i replied on your other post about Jack, i'm so glad he enjoyed it sounds like you all had a fab day. My sister has got piccies of Hollie on her camera, so will have to get them when we next go down.

Dawn, i hope you had a lovely walk. The sun is out here and it is like another summers day. I hope we dont go back to bad weahter tomorrow.
How are you managing so far to keep your spendings from John?

Simone i agree, cant wait for the summer to come, especially as this year Hollie can go out in the garden with us.

Emma, How did the maisonette go, was it nice? Ian and i were talking last night about selling the house and buying a huge camper to live in. Would be nice to change scenery whenever you want, but not sure how it would be with Hollie.

Hi Karen, the maisonette was ok but it still needs lots of work doing to it as it used to be oil heating and they are putting in new gas central heating but we will not be taking it,a few reasons realy, theres to much glass in a panel leading into the kitchen, were told they couldnt take it neither could we so not very good with riley and we need a bath that can accomndate a shower for adi as he cant use a bath with his back, and there would be nowhere to put one, plus its well out the way from where we wanna be anyway, never mind better luck next time.

Oh and a camper would be nice,we lived in a caravan as kids and found it great at times, mum and dad also had a camper drive thing and that was good to.
I think it would be nice to be able to just get up and go,but not sure id do it.Maybe for holidays.

Hi emma,

That's a shame i hope you find somewhere nicer soon though. I think i would be more inclined to do it if we didnt have Hollie. There are so many reasons why it isnt practical with her but also loads of good reasons to do it, like no mortgage for one lol. But we will see, we really need to sort something out though.

xx
