Guess What...We got a new pet

Its a leopard.. or tbh my MIL

Well my mum came to stay at the wk end so the MIL decided she could then have riley,we told her what would be the point as my mum was here visiting us. Then when my mum left on monday morning she rung when she was home to say she was feeling rather sick and upset belly,.

By late morning i was feeling the same but thankfully it was just mega cramps and back ache.Kept riley home from nusery as i didnt wasnt to risk it. Then tue morning adi went down with it but it hit him real hard,he was in bed most the day then in the evening it got worse as nearly ended bk up the hossy as it was affecting his heart,he has his spray thing which helped and it calmed down by midnight,still keeping riley at home incase. Riley has not gone down with it and it seems to have passed him by(heres hoping)his been fine and no probs so going bk to nusery today.

Well the leopard decided to show its spots again as i had b4 said she would not upset me or riley she would work to when i agree, using the fact that adi was, the way he was she said she could have riley wed evening over night again. I was thinking on it and decided she could have him(if she got the bug sod it,she'd have to cope with it)so adi rung her at lunch time(when agreed to confirm)and guess what she was having a majoy mirgrain and couldnt have him,i was so peeved but glad riley had not been told. To add insult to it she had already gone to see her daughter and other gran kids with no problems.

Have said the nxt time she moans about not being able to see him so much and missing out im gonna bring up that she should blow out a few people(i.e.an ex boss who she still thinks the sun shines out of her arse and says how high when she says jump,and someone else who's just a leech really) instead of family in the future.

Sorry for the essay,my rant is over.

Oh Emma, I'm so sorry she did it AGAIN !!!!! At least you didn't tell Riley and he knows nothing about it this time. Saves him being hurt, but you cant help but feel hurt for him, can you.

Today's gonna be a busy one, as I've felt rough all week so have done no housework at all so its all piled up and waiting for me. Oh what joy!!!! (Just as long as I can put the laptop down)

Emma it sounds like she knows exactly what she is doing messing with all your heads. I'm so glad you hadnt told Riley yet, as he doesnt understand when she lets him down. Glad the bug by passed Riley though, i hope he is ok. And i hope you feel better soon.

I dont know what to say with your MIL, has Adi had a word with her to tell her that she cant treat you and Riley like this?

Oh Emma i'm so sorry she's let you all down again, thank goodness you hadn't told Riley or he would have been so disappointed.

I think she needs to get her priorities right, she's his gran for goodness sake and she should be cherishing every moment she has with him.

She really does take liberties, doesn't she?  Like Karen suggested, it seems she knows what she's doing when she does this to you, gives her a sense of power maybe? 

It seems as if you and Adi need to talk and agree on a plan of action with her.  It is dreadfully unfair on your family to have your arragements messed about by anyone, even another member of the family, and if she does have an agenda, as you have suggested in the past, that needs addressing, even if it ends up leaving her to play her little game without you taking part.  Good luck, I hope you find a solution. really sorry to hear she's messed you around again, but glad riley didn't get hurt. as zoe said it sounds as though you know how to handle her.. it's just such a shame she doesn't have much commitment to seeing you guys.
