Hi, Thanks for the post Mel and everyone's best wishes.

My scan went well, baby estimated to weight 8lb 12oz at the minute!!

C section date set for the 26th November, a little later than I had expected but he is taking into consideration my due date and the one that the hospital gave us. He suggested that we go with a planned section due to my height, and the fact that he expects baby to weigh about 11-12lb at birth. He wants to minimise any risk to either of us, especially when you consider Bronwyn getting stuck in my pelvis, and it taking 7 people to remove her!

Thankfully I now have a few more weks to get myself organised!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend, catch up with you all soon!!

Hi Caroline.  Glad all is going well and that the docs and co are being sensible and scheduling you in.  Although I think it must be weird to know the date and almost the time that your baby will be born, you do have some more definite timelines to work to so that must help.  When do you go on maternity leave?

 N. xx

Thanks Ladies!

I am now slightly more organised, I have bought wipes, newborn nappies (size 2 - no point in buying size 1!!) and formula!

I have made a decision to go on Maternity leave the week before Smurfy is due so that I get a week to myself to do final, last minute stuff!!

Glad everything went well with your scan and they've sorted out a date for your section. It sounds like you're really well organised, now you can try to relax a bit (if that's possible with a toddler and a full time job ) Take care xx

Caroline, glad the scan went well. At least you have dates to work to now so you can plan around it. P x
