Hi again! My son Jack is 6 in January and Kai is 1 in November. They are great kids (well, I think so), but Jack was really trying my patience this school holiday and I am looking forward to Monday when he's back at school. Kai has only just learned to pull himself up on furniture and is crawling with unbelievable speed, so he's keeping me on my toes. He is also having a tough time teething. So, all in all, this week has been a CHALLENGE!!!

Hi again, the school holidays have been a challenge; together with my 1 year olds' teething problems and his determination to get into the kitchen to have a bath in the dog's waterbowl, this week has left me pulling my hair out!!!

Hello!
Sounds like you're kept busy! There's 2 years between my two Amber being only 7 months. I'll be glad when these hols are over and our tots groups are back on! I was being nosey and read your profile! Are there any tots groups available to you in germany?
love Tasha x

Hi, yes, we've got mums and tots 3 days a week, but taking my eldest along during the hols is not an option as he'd get bored with all the baby stuff, he reckons he's too old for this. Fair enough though.
We've got everything on the army base that you've got in "civvie street"; they've got to look after us to keep us sweet...

Hi Andrea1972,
I just realised that I replied to you in the "army wife" section, we do have a lot in common! Next you're gonna say you are german (like me), are you??? Don't let the german bit put you off though, as you can see I can speak English, well I have been married to my hubby for 16 years so I picked up one or two things! And no, we don't eat horse meat- seriously, you wouldn't believe how many people ask me that (why???)! Have you ever lived anywhere else but the UK?

Hi Simone,
No way! Guess what, I used to be a hairdresser too (sorry, I was nosey and read your profile), didn't like it though. I re-trained as a business administrator, which I loved. Now I'm a stay-at home mum and every now and then do a spot of childminding (I'm registered), but not full time yet as I'm busy enough right now!

You din't give birth at 8.45am too.
I got fed up with the hairdressing, so changed to home care, which i love but only do a few hours a week now.
Can't believe Jessica will soon be one, this year has flown by.

No, 14.56pm. This year has certainly flown by. Kai is a right little bruiser, into everything. But his big brother helps keep him in check!

Hi Hun.
No i'm English and have always lived in Britain. Only been with my Husband 5 years so never really had the chance to live anywhere else although if Cyprus came up we would definatly go their. Four years ago when Husband was in the Navy he did have the opertunity to live in America for a Year but we declined.I just read the post above. I was a hairdresser years ago and although i'm a stay at home mum now and in two years i hope to go back to work in Administration!Thats so wierd to find someone on here that has so many similarties! I'm Scared lol

Wilkommen nach PP Cafe Kaismummy! Wo wonst du in Deutschland? I spent a lot of time in Germany over the years, mostly in the Reinpfalz area and Koblenz, but I know Dusseldorf quite well as well. I'm afraid my German is pretty poor these days, don't use it as much as I used to. Have you lived in Britain or have you stayed in Germany?

Hi ya,
welcome to PP, I'm new myself and I'm really enjoying this! I joined one evening when I was really low because I've just had the day from hell, and reading the post and chatting really cheered me up. Look forward to chatting to you.
