Hi to everyone
My name is Mandy
I have a 5 month old little girl called kira and I am quite enjoying being a mum.
I'm very new to this forum biz as we only joined the 21st century last month as i insisted to my hubby that we need a pc.

Im Kas, ive got two beautiful daughters, Niamh (2yrs 5mnth) and Tara (5 months).
Welcome to the site. This is the only forum Ive joined but I love it.

Thankyou all for the warm welcome
Its comforting to know I can get some advice here as being a first time mum I sometimes have lots of questions and dont always want to ask my friends as all their babies are older than mine and I feel like a bit of a novice.
I'm also the only one out of my friends who breastfeeds so they cant help there anyway!

I found being a mum tough in the first few weeks too but its finally coming together and I can relax a bit more now and enjoy it. Have been wondering what sort of age gap we should leave before trying for another. Thats if we are lucky enough!
Heard its easier 2nd time around!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
Having a quiet hour or 2 as Kira is sleeping and Hubby playing football,and enjoying the peace.

There's 2 years 13days between mine although i had planned a 3 year age gap!! It is easier with the second in that i was so much more relaxed but juggling a toddler and newborn has been exhausting! Hope you're enjoying the site x

Hi Mandy,

I'm 10 weeks short of a three year age gap but to be honest I don't think it really matters how long you leave it. I've been lucky and Jack welcomed Charlotte with open arms and although he doesn't like it if she plays with his cars, he is generally really good with her. A friend of mine who had a similar age gap had a lot of problems with her first born. You need to listen to your feelings and when you feel ready then go for it, don't worry about anyone else. Hope you're enjoying the weekend.

We're probably going to start trying for no 2 late next year when Cameron will be about 18 months.
I hope it's easier 2nd time round, at least we'll know what to expect!!
