hello ladies!

well im back again after a break from the net,

ive had a really tough couple of months, our beloved family dog died at the grand age of 16 and my wonderful grams condition got alot worse, and we discovered her cancer had spread to her brain and within 5 weeks we had lost her, its the funeral on tuesday, i miss her so very much and its painfull and strange.

other than that im generally quite happy, i chose to go on to anti depressants as after the obstacles of this year my moods were suffering and i needed some help, and they have helped me stay far more positive and be a better mum.

i do find myself feeling terribly guilty for being happy at any point but my grandma adored jack and lola and i know 100% she would want me to carry on have fun and smile for them.

we are still living between my mums and our house in leicester, but i dont care anymore, the kids are happy, and until something right comes up we will cope.

Enough doom and gloom.

Lola is TWO on sunday!!!! i cannot believe it!

she is so grown up now, but such a petite little thing, and has ALOT to say for herself, ready steady go is her new comment this week, and as soon as she wakes in the morning she sayes morning meme (mummy) and snuggles in bed with me, she is a real mummys girl!

Jack is toilet trained, literally overnight we left nappies behind and have never had an accident, i am so very proud of him, he still has a pull up for night time but its rarely wet and hes dry for naps. hes talking alot more and is becoming very confident, its fantastic after struggling for so long with his severe shyness.

i am very proud of them both!

How is everyone doing?

Any new bumps?

Any new babies here yet??

much love x x x x x x x

hiya so sorry to hear about your doggie, i have two myself and wouldnt know what to do without them, i hope u get better soon, i understand depression i had it when i was 19 and came of the anti depressants recently when i discovered i was pregnant im a new bump im due on christmas day so only 5 weeks left come saturday, aww Lola and Jack are such lovely names and they sound adorable too, its so nice to have a chat and an update, my post under Hi Friends says enough about me and my pregnancy and how my baby is coming along, im looking forward to having her but not the pain of labour, as shes my first i guess i would be anxious about the future but im sure there are a lot of positives too, i have a lot of support around me but this website also helps a lot and their magazine, practical parenting and pregnancy and the other magazine pregnancy and birth really helps with what i can expect. anyway keep your chin up and keep smiling. nothing to feel guilty about.its natural.  and im sure Lola and Jack would want a happy mummy

Hi Laura.Welcome back.

Sorry for losing your Grandma,I know you were very close.

Sorry for your dog dying too.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Sounds like Jack and Lola are doing well. Two years old already ,where did the time go?

Pontypines all doing well.Harry's settled into big school well.Had me worried yesterday, told me he and his friends went to philosophy club.I asked him what they did in philosophy club. They have biscuits,he said,we call it biscuit club now. That's a philosophy I can relate to.

Merlin's 18 months in  a week's time, still not walking. He can tell you stand up,sit down, and do both those things,he can do a dance but try and get him to walk and he just squeals whoa!!! and fakes falling down.I think he's just enjoying the game, but he'll beat the family record at this rate.

Supposed to be doing Tesco's shopping

Jo

sarah congratulations!!! 5weeks to go, so exciting  thank you for your kind comments it really does help.

Jo, i like the sound of biscuit club!

Merlins 18mnths!! i cant believe it! already! Lola didnt walk fast, cant remember when exactly, terrible i know! Sounds like his game is far more fun than walking anyway

I cant believe madam is 2 sunday, its flown so fast. My friend brought her a talking peppa pig that she adores and has been dragged around by the hand all day talking to it and shouting My peppa at anyone who looked at it, shes gonna be fun on the day huh!

Anyone started christmas shopping yet? im actually organised this year, shocker! there has just been too many sales and good offers that ive gone a bit crazy! and also for the first time in years me and roo managed to buy for one another!

Have started the Christmas shopping, and have even got most of them wrapped, but I've run out of paper, so I have to get more.  Hubby did the shopping, as I had an operation 4 weeks ago, and shouldn't be doing much.

OMG JADE I AM SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!

sorry to hear your moving again zoe, its chaotic isnt it, were still trying to find somewhere, having a break for now and looking in the new year.

Rach, these boys eh, worth all the hassle though! my little or not so little brother was delivered early, 3weeks early and weighed.....11lb 2oz. no reason for it, mum had two gtts and nothing showed up, he was the third to! Do hope he arrives healthy and you have no problems, being huge isnt much fun! take care hun x x x x

exciting sarah, not long now, i never had any braxton hicks so cant give you any advice, just had painful hips, my mum jokes and says i cant have as my babys were so small, just 6 and 7lbs.

Lola had a wonderful day, we went to the zoo for the day on saturday then spent sunday opening presents and eating cake at mums, she loved every minute, we got her her first doll and its being dragged everywhere although shes played with it so much the batteries ran out in 2 days!!!  We also got her a little tea set that she spends ages with but always back to her baby, before grams passed away she got her a little mamas and papas set, pram, high chair and bouncy chair for her dolly and bebe as shes called it spends all day being dragged between the three! its really lov ely watching her play as shed grown very bored of all her toys.

im really organised with christmas thanks to all the sales that have been on,

jack has the peppa pig rocket (free when i spent £40 at toysrus) the elc mega rc truck, Half price in the sale

Lola just has some odds and ends i put up after over spending on her birthday, peppa phonic board, drink and wet doll that was half price in elc.

i got my brothers pressie on a brilliant deal, hes mad on chuggington, the engines were buy 2 get one free, and the storage case was 20% off then after spending a certain amount i got a remote control brewster free in toysrus!!

there stockings ive picking up little bits all over, pound land had toystory and disney princess china breakfast bowls, mugs and metal cutlery for £1 obviously. elc had all pocket money toys on 3 for 2.got them christmas slipper socks in aldi for £1.50 for 2 pairs. got jacks tons of buzz bits, yoyo, phone, zeebee, pez dispenser, straw etc. Just got to finish my sister and my kids. My sister is impossible all she wants is an ice cream maker and a baby doll like lolas!!!

i will go shrink some pics to post now, she has changed so much!!!

my hips ache too Laura even though my baby is measuring small, had another scare last night, more painful and regular ones plus woke up this morning with my tummy cramping, does anyone else know how braxton hicks work? can they be regular?  i havent had any since i got up though. and now even though im usually clean anyway it seems any sort of dirt is irritating me and i have to scrub scrub scrub. i can't getting washing done as fast as i like coz i got to dry it too and thats making me feel depressed, considering the babys bedding still needs washing, i hope im not going to be overly paranoid about germs near my baby, i don't want to be constantly cleaning and worrying. being a first time mum i hope these feelings are normal. and its ok to worry lol
