After coming down from my elation of the mighty Liverpool beating arsenal last night, I went to bed! I was woken by Bronwyn at 11 wanting milk and thus gave her 5oz! She then preceded to do a pooh, nappy change time! Just as i whipped her nappy out she proceded to pooh more! Joy, and just as I thought I had caught and dealt with it all and was taking her vest off and had the most horrendous diarrhea that covered her vest, sleepsuit and sleeping bag!!!!

Obviously not wanting to leave the clothes to ferment I popped them in the washing machine which refused to shut and so I slammed the door shut, ooooops! I looked at the clock and it was 11.20 so I am expecting a letter threatening legal action this morning. I also admit that I had to slam the dryer door as that refused to shut!!!! Ooops double trouble!!!

That was just the start of my bad night, she eventually went back to sleep for 3 hours and then was up constantly until 5am when she had another hour and a half! I had to keep bringing her into my bed, waiting for her to sleep and then transfer her to her cot. She always woke up the second her head hit the cot, aarrgghhhhhhhh!!!!

Needless to say, she is tired but chirpy and I feel like I could have a place in the Ghost train at Mablethorpe's fair!!!!!! In fact Zoe, I think I can lend you my bags for some of your stuff for next week!

Sorry for the rant, will probably be back later ranting more when they put a note through my door moaning about the noise that I was making during the nighttime hours!!!!

Oh Caroline, that really is a badnight you poor thing. If your neighbours dare say anything to you i really would give them a mouthful, ask them if they'd have rathered you pop Bronwyns dirty clothing round to their house just to sit until the morning?!

I hope Bronwyns ok today, perhaps you can try and have a duvet day and just set her up with a few toys on the floor? Look after yourself, i'll be on and off today, feel free to moan away!! Xx Xx Xx

Thanks Tasha
To make things worse, we both seem to be getting our colds back!!!

I am meeting 2 pupils at 1 to put their minds at ease over the prom. We are only meeting at a house across the road. It's a tracksuit and footy shirt day for me, i need the big shirt to cover up my stomach!!

Oh dear Caroline. Has Bronwyn picked up a bug or is she teething? Charl has bad nappies when she's teething.

I'm sure the ghost train would turn you away for not looking scary enough you probably feel worse than you look. And as for bags, you'd have to go along way to beat mine!!

OOOhh not long to go now. I am so ready for a week away.

Oh dear Caroline, sorry you have had such a bad night, as Tasha has said, if the neighbours do complain, i really would give them a mouthful!

Hope Bronwyn is ok today, try and have a relaxing day today xx

Unfortunately my neighbours seem to be on a mission to get me to move! I find this quite funny as, as soon as I move out the landlords will move holiday makers in. A different loud family every week!!!! When I moved in they welcomed me and said how nice it was to have normal neighbours!!!

They refuse to accept any noise from me what so ever yet their grandkids are allowed to charge at the dividing wall with their toys, often sounding like they are on a demolition mission!

They only ever slide notes through the door when they think we have gone out or aren't paying attention. They have never actually come round and talked face to face. I think they are pretty sad individuals who need to get out more!!

I guess we will see what happens later on!!!!

OMG I can't believe that, do your neighbours not realise that its only every day noice that you make and its not your fault if the walls are thin!
I bet you feel like you are walking on egg shells with them, how do they react when Bronwyn cries at night!

Blimey i'd be very inclined to make as much noise as i wanted during daytime hours, as you say they're to coward to talk face to face so i'd simply ingnore then notes, there are far more important things going on in your life!

Or maybe you and my neighbours could do a houseswap and we'll see how your neighbours cope with them??!!

Simone, the funny thing is that i go to work before 8 and don't get back till 5. But according to them I can make as much noise as i want in those hours, its the 11pm to 7am hours they object about. Whilst Gareth was at home they actually put a "neighbour disputes" booklet through our door with a note attracting our attention to a certain page. On that page they have made notes for us!!!
They even said that we were banging doors at 5.40am one morning and we didn't even get up till 5.50 and even then all I did was get in the shower!!!!

Tasha, that is a fantastic idea!!!! The thing is, they were the kind of people that used to stay here for a week or 2 at a time before i moved in!!!!

I do often put my music on louder than usual just to make a point. If football is on, i also have the volume on loud and my cinema system on - just to boost the volume!!!

When Gareth is home, he is noisier as he is heavy handed - slams doors and stomps around, but that is during the day!!!

I keep threatening to tell the old witch to turn her hearing aid down!!!!

Oooh i think you should caroline!!! hehe

Our other neighbours are really quite noisy but i couldn't give a hoot, they have 2 lads age 11 and 13 and a dog so they're hardly goingto be silent plus they've put up with Ethans screaming at night when he was younger andthat's how it should be with neighbours!

Go Caroline tell her to turn her hearing aid down!lol

I never really think about the noise of my neighbours and i didn't really think about them when Jessica was little and cried at night, its just the joy of having neighbours, you just assume they are going to make noise!

Do they ever make any noise, or do they walk around on tip toes!

Simone, she vaccuums twice a day on most days, 3 or more times at a weekend!!!! I can hear their tv in the dining room, they often have power tools out! I tend to go out if their grandkids come over as they are a noisy nightmare!! They bang constantly for hours on end, and feel like they are running at the dividing wall in the living room. Our sofa backs onto the wall and we often jump due to the noise!!!!

Maybe you should take after them and send them a letter!

I did after the last letter. I told them that I could hear lots of noise coming from their house but being a reasonable human being i hadn't felt the need to tell them. I pointed out that i was heavily pregnant and didn't need the hassle and stress etc etc. They sent me a not back saying that they were allowed to make noise and justified every last little point!!!!

Play them at thier own game, write and say if i go it will only get worse. But why should you go.
Dont tell her to turn down her hearing aid tell her to take it out all together.

Our downstairs neighbours seemed real quite as they are v.devoted to church, but everytime theres an arsenal game his so loud, last night was funny as we managed to hear everything he said,we have very good floors and have never heard them brefore the f1t arsenal game a few mths back.

Caroline sorry you had a bad night. We did too as both Hollie and Ian are full of cold. She was cried when i put her in her cot last night, which she never does. She fell asleep but was awake at 11 and wouldnt settle, i finally got her to sleep and she was in her cot by 12. She was then awake at 4, so i fed her and took her back through. Laid her down in her cot and she woke, i stood next to her and stroked her cheek she fell asleep. I then turned to go out the room and she was wide awake. I got her to sleep again, left the room and she cried. So she came in with us and Ian got up at about 5, so Hollie sprawled out in the middle of our bed and slept until 7.30. And she is very happy this morning, although she refused her brekkie as she is full of cold and mucus in her throat.

Sorry i ranted a bit. Anyway i hope you have no problmes with the neighbours, surely they must realise that when people have children there is bound to be more noise.

Hi Caroline. Have you tried pre-empting the neighbours and popping a note through the door exaggerating how ill Bronwyn was and apologising for the noise? If you have taken the first step they can't in all conscience then have a go. If they do then you have ammo that they are being unreasonable should it ever go further.

Catalina's nappy leaked quite badly yesterday. I just threw the vest away as I didn't think the poo would come out. She wouldn't have fitted it for long anyway so it was no real loss.
