As most of you know im taking Jessica on holiday on the 28th and am nervous about what she will be like on the plane!

So far for the flight i have got her a little box of wooden blocks and some large crayons, my friend is also lending me her portable dvd player as a last resort!(can you take them on a plane)!

If anyone has any other ideas on what to take to keep her happy i would be really gratefull

Thanks xx

Yes you can take dvd's on the plane with you, though you cant use them during takeoff or landng.(perfect with ITNG dvd)
Get some toys and books that she's never seen before.Tesco and asda do some little cheapies.
Also hold some back for when you arrive at your hotel so she can play with them while you unpack and she wont get too bored.
Pack snacks too. They wont let you take water onboard though.so take her empty cup and they will fill it for you.

check with your airline website or the airport website they will have the most upto date info. When I last travelled with babyfood which was just over a year ago, they let you take it you had to taste it!! But in a year the rules might have changed so best check. They are changing all the time!! Where are you going???

Lucy's right, with the bag of toys she's never seen before. Also keep some back for your return flight. Portable dvd is definitely worth taking!! I've had so much use out of ours when we are travelling for the eldest too. I think I will have to get another soon!

Depending on who you fly with, some provide jars and cartons of formula.

Why don't you wrap up some of these new presents!! Time consuming at home but may keep her busy a bit longer on the plane. That should keep her quiet for a while - even if you only wrap up a packet of raisins ect.

Thanks so much for all your ideas, will have to go into town at the weekend and get it all!
The aqua draw and wrapping it all up is a really good idea!

Thanks
