Matilda spends all day rolling round the floor, perfectly happy but eats anything in her path. This week alone she's munched on a bauble, chewed Daddy's slippers, and I've rescued every toy from Upsy Daisy to geo mags. The other day it was a drawing pin,how many times can you tell a 9 yearold do not play with the drawing pins, they're dangerous.Well she was alright, cos I was right there. She regularly camps under Arwen's highchair for a snack the same way my Mum's dog used to.,and she scours the kitchen floor for crumbs.Tonight,no sooner had I removed a chicken nugget,a present from Arwen, than I noticed she was blue. Not blue ill or choking.Bright blue. She'd found a little paint that'd come out of someone's paint box and was evidently enjoying that.Don't know where it'd been hiding we haven't had paints out for ages.Anyway I'm about to give her her tea.Wonder if she's still hungry.

Bronwyn has gone off food, but loves chewing my trainer shoe lace and the cord from my hoody!!!!

She also scours the floor for bits that she can eat and has been seen digging away at the plaster where the skirting board fell off and eating bits of that. It is filthy and minging!!

If I thought Matilda was bad,Arwen has out done her.Filthy little madam's been stealing from the bin.I gave her toast for breakfast,no she didn't want it,but throw it in the bin and she went looking.Dirty wee beastie!!My kids are so badly fed they have to forage for themselves.

That'd be right,Laura, but I'd just be that made up to see Daddy peeling spuds. He thinks they come out of a packet in the freezer. How can you not see small child, dirty bin.
To think we go to all that trouble scrubbing and sterilising the bottles. As soon as they're moving they'll eat anything. When we came back off holiday we bought the kids KFC on the way home. Two weeks later,Arwen was climbing round the van and I found her eating a bit of popcorn chicken.I can't believe she wasn't ill.Two week old chicken, nice.I only clean the van once a year, got my Dad to jet wash the floor inside after that little gem.

I think I have one who pretends he can't so I don't ask, because when he has to he can.But cakes, biscuits, puddings, that's my stuff.I have to make Scots tablet,my kids just call it fudge. It is so tricky to get right.Every year it takes two or three tries, because you're boiling sugar you have to get it to the right heat without burning and cook it just right.I found a recipe on line last year which worked first time,so I'm hoping it'll work this year. That is the one cooking thing I dread every year, but it is so worth it when it comes right.
I will be roping Darren in to do veggies for Christmas dinner, which we might get ready the night before. We always do the turkey overnight too,so you wake up Christmas morning to it all cooked.Course we have a massive one.Takes hours to cook,we'd be eating at midnight if we didn't.

blimey that sounds tricky!

we get everything ready the night before and wash up as we go along! (if we didnt have an extra freezer for when i do massive cook ups id have a dishasher) so hopefully a relaxed day! its only the 4 of us then upto mums!

Im going to do stain glass cookies with jack this week! cant wait!

its christmas, and what better excuse to indulge than being pregnant?

basically im doing christmas tree ones, you need 2 different size cutters so you can make a biscuit frame, then pop a boiled sweet in the middle which melts and fill the frame like a stained glass window, put them on lolly sticks one year wrapped in cellophane they make nice gifts x

dont doubt it, charlotte and jack can easily clear a packet up (needless to say a male was incharge at the time) Nowhere near as bad as a friends children 2,4 and 6 drank 2 large bottles of calpol between them, the funniest thing was theyd asked daddy to undo the bottle and he did without looking at it, thanx to the xbox.

The kids were fine, slept well tho! Hes never lived it down any opportunity people are told so they then yell at him lol!

Speaking of dopey men i actually seriously think andrews ill. hes not with it its like hes half asleep when hes easily getting 3hrs more than me and im managing 8ish! and hes sleeping everytime he sits down in the day! But last night he had jack on his lap in the nursery chair and just moved his leg not holding jack and jacks now got a huge bump on back of the head and cut cheek fromthe bedside cabinet corner and hitting the wall, and today he picked something up and hit me and jack in the face, its all accidental because he looks so shocked and is clearly embarassed but i just dont know what to do i keep tryng 2 talk to him but he gets on the defense and argues!
