Morning all! How is everyone today? Are you also being deluged with a months rain in about 6hrs??!! Its really bad here. Fortunately im at work today (double pay yipee!!) So terry has the task of entertaining the kids, I did suggest finger painting but he gave me a funny look and said he might put Bee Movie dvd on (we got it in tesco's too Zoe!)

So what are you all up to??

Morning Nicola - being in Kent aswell we too have all the rain

and alot of wind but hay ho.

Todays plans are tooooooo.. not to do alot - I might me meeting Jade today at lunch time but think i'm gonna sit here for the most part and chill

Morning,

It is horrible here again today so we aren't doing the show. Luckily Hollie slept again until 7.30 and this time we were able to sleep in too.

We have no plans for today, might brave the weather and take Hollie for a walk though.

Hi girls, it's not too bad here just windy. We went to a car boot this morning left at 9am especially, got there and found it was blooming cancelled because of the weather, wimps!!!

It hasn't even rained today!
We went to our local country park instead

thanks girls, he loves his ice cream!! Its so dark here today, i was looking forward to a wonder to the shops on my lunchbreak (without kids, lovely!) but is still pouring down.

its just very windy here in cumbria. ive had 2 lines of washing dry today already. millie was up twice in the night so i havent even got dressed yet. she was trying to go to the toilet, finally gone now and it wasnt nice at least she is sleeping now though. it will soon be four oclock x x x

We're making one of those dvds that the others have done except we're donig it ourselves and will burn it to a dvd so it's free!!!

Gillans far more technically minded than me! It's looknig fab but we're trying to get the kids to do some dancing for a little movie on it and they are not complying!!!!

oh thats a great idea Tasha, I would never manage that! yep only a couple of hours to go. Terry's making a nice roast for dinner and I get to see tom as he's been at his dads so not seen him since he went to school friday.

I've been looking at bouncy castles and entertainment for the kids!!! I want to get a babysitter for the day, but not sure where to start as I don't have a babysitter (only my mum!)

Tate was dancing to the music in the shopping centre yesterday, v.cute!

Why don't you approach a local nursery, they may well be able to reccomend one of their nursery nurses to work for you for the day!

good idea I could ask Tates nursery next week!!! But they all seem to be more middle aged women not sure if they would want to work w/end at a wedding?? I know at toms old nursery which was a private one none of their staff were allowed to work for any parents. But its worth asking I suppose?! Thanks Tasha

That sounds odd, i did loads of extra work for the parents at my nursery. I had a face painiting business so was forever working at the kids birtday parties!!

Toms nursery was a pricey place and in a bit of a snobby area not sure if that had anything to do with it. I've found a co. that does bouncy castles and also hires those massive twisters/snakes ladders boards for £8 so that would be fun!

Nicola, glad you got the Bee movie. My two sat and watched it on Saturday and really enjoyed it. I even heard Jack chanting, " we love bees"! And think of those club card points too!!

Nicola sounds like your wedding is going to be great. Shame we didnt live closer as you could have hired our bouncy castle for free. It's 25ft so would be big enough for the kids.

Tasha, our day is ok so far. It is absolutely tipping it down, but i was planning on bundling Hollie into the buggy and going for a walk. Ian has gone to pick an old landrover up from somewhere in england, and he has the buggy in the car. Grrrr so we cant go out.
Have fun doing those movies and picture. Did you see the one i did for Hollie, i posted it when you were away i think under "Look at this"

I did think of you Karen, any more thoughts on going into that business? There was loads of co's round here when I looked. But I remember you saying none where you are??

Thats the sort of thing used to happen to me with Terry and the buggy!! Thats why good to have more than one lol!!
