I dont know, I broke Ian's little one that he had before meeting me. But then thats propably because it had more use with me than him

My mam bought me one for christmas and it broke a couple of months later. Ian said he would look at it but never got round to it. The power light was on but the on switch didnt work. I fixed it earlier, electrocuted myself, hooverd downstairs then it packed up again. That is under warranty but have no receipt for it.

So i was using the hoover that the previous owners left here, it had been in the garage but it is lie 50 years old and has finally packed up on me.

Lol we walked past hoovers in town one day, Ian grabbed my arm pulled me away and said no you arent having one. But now i desperately need one. Me and hoovers dont get along. I had to gaffa tape ian's hoovers pipe loads of times because i kept breaking it.

LOL!! Karen since having the kids I'm on my third hoover!! (that's 3 in 5 years).  I'm on my Third microwave in 5 years too and I only use them to warm up milk!!!

Will you be able to borrow one until you can afford one?

No, i rung my mam yesterday to ask if she had a sapre as she has 2 of everything else but she doesnt. I have pulled the carpet up from the living room that we had down to stop Hollie hurting herself when she fell. So downstairs is all laminate flooring which can be sweeped and mopped.

It's upstairs i cant do though, so i  suppose it isn't too bad.

I am going to ring tescos later because that is where she got it from and see what can be done about it, i have only had it since christmas so it isnt that old.

I'm sure you should be able t get an exchange Karen, even without a receipt, it's a faulty good and as you say, you haven't had it long at all. good luck with tescos!

Thanks, rung them earlier and they said i need to ring tomorrow when the manager is on. and it also looks like it will have to go back to the store where my mam got it from which is miles away from us

I did do a naughty thing though and used it to hoover upstairs when Ian was out, but now it wont work again so i had to sweep downstairs.

this is a bit naughty but as you don't have the receipt anyway, can't you just fib and say you got it from a different, closer store??

Thanks Jade, Ian has said he thinks i should stay away from hoovers, i would be chuffed if that meant he would take over hoovering. But i really cant see that somehow.

Tasha, i cant because the store near us doesnt sell them so it has to go back to the store my mam got it from.

They wont i asked to speak to the manager and she told me no not without a receipt. I will ask Ian to ring them when he gets a chance as he seems to be able to get people to listen to him better.
