Morning girlies

Nicola, that's fab, how lovely to startt the new year with a holiday Never got the chance to ask, how was your christmas having all three boys together?

Mel, sounds like you're hardly getting any sleep at all at the moment, How is Harry donig overnight, does he sleep well?

We're having to wait in for the sky man to come this mroning as our sky is seriously playing up. Then we're gonig to visit friends this afetrnoon then finishing off with dinner at the inlaws!!

Oooh Nicola, ive been getting some bargains!! It's both Ethan and ambers birthdyas in march so i basically started palnning from boxing day!!! Have decided on the parties (i think) and have started buying their presents!! We're trynig not to get them lots of bits this year as to be honest they accumulate so much c**p during the year! But i'm gettnig things i  know they'll like. I got amber some disney dressing up shoes in asda yesterday down from £6 to £1.50!!! Ethans got a load of mighty world sets (american figure sets) at a 1/4 of the retail price. Plus of course i've had some new tops mostly half price

xx xx

Holiday sounds lovely,Nicola.Enjoy!
Hope Tate's better for nursery. This winter seems to have been one of non stop colds. We've got yet another one here.
Mel,Erin used to wake up at night and turn the light on right up until Christmas when we bought one of those little lamps for kids. The top bits a torch, and when you put it on the base it can be a lamp.Erin's got the Disney Princess one, they also do Thomas and a few others.Least it doesn't wake the whole house any more, but she's got her little light.

oh nicola that sounds lovely, were thinking of doing a weekend at the coast but not deciding until lolas more settled, as tbh after last years holiday we arent keen on a repeat, but then people did say NEVER holiday with friends who dont have a baby and dont know what its like to be 28wks pg with spd!!!

mel im having trouble going to sleep at night even though lolly is up all the bloomin time, but on the otherhand any other time im stationary i cant keep awake, very frustrating.

jo we have an in the night garden go glo light jack loves it as he can get it from his cot and puts it back when hes done and no wires, when its charged up, just have to remember!!

Helloooo

A bit of winter sunshine sounds fab, my sis was in fuerteventura in November and had a lovely time!!

We've had a pretty quiet day today, just been catching up an housework and getting ready for work tomorrow

We've all had yucky colds too, although thankfully we seem to be over the worst!! Phoned Cameron's childminder earlier to make sure she'd be able to take him tomorrow, had a sudden panic that i'd have to find alternative childcare!! Now his spots have all dried up though she's happy to have him, phew!!

Mel, wishing you a good night's sleep tonight xx

Mel - hope you get some sleep tonight, sounds like you and Laura are both having similar nights.. I'm working nights this week, so will be thinking of you while wandering about the hospital.

Nicola - very jealous of your sunny holiday, hope you have a lovely time though!! We've had a quiet day today, put up a few pictures and a mirror so the house feels more homely, and had a nap this afternoon as going to attempt to stay up late tonight (although flagging already!)..

Mel speaking of noisy toys, i may be wrong but i think it was you who recomended the bob the builder vtech phone? lovely toy loads to do, but noisiest thing in my house, after lola! Christ i want to kill the blooming thing! it allways appears as lolas settled, mean as i am ive put cheap batteries in it and its quitened it down a bit but still drives me nuts old btb yelling away when jacks presses the wrong button!

Hope you get some better nights soon mel if its any comfort last night was the 3rd time, not in a row might i add, lola slept after 1am before 9am! shes a tough cookie!

cant fault it as a toy keeps andrew busy for ages too, just very aware of looud noises with little miss, im not sleeping! living with us lol! My hv whos going to run baby massage has said winter babies are often more unsettled, something to do with spending more time in doors longer hours of darkness etc etc (shes a bit of a hippy but is lovely) as when she ran our july babies group all of them had a very settled routine and over half slept over 8hrs a night by 8wks! so its our fault for falling pg at the wrong time!

Actually my one summer baby was the unsettled one.Trust me,and him,to be different.
Harry used to wake four times a night ,every night at around 3-4.He did eventually stop. His thing was unfortunately an obsession with his ten teddies being in precisely the right place in his bed. He'd move in the night, one would fall out and he'd panic. Not fun.He still doesn't sleep well, just doesn't wake me anymore.
Erin has her nightlight beside her in bed.She used to sleep lovely, till my brother's now ex,then oh, taught her how to play monsters in the dark at bed time.Four years later, they're still there.

god id have killed her!!! jacks is funny about his muslins is he looses one in the night he goes crazy, he has to have three (didnt know he could count) and his taggie blanket, then theres the gloworm and sheep that have to be on a certain song, atleast i know whats bothering him when he wakes, sometimes!
