is anyone a member? I am but only ever used it on a local level. however I looked at their message boards, is it just me or they nowhere near as friendly as here? I would be scared to put a post on (not that I would im happy with my pp friends!)

im a member, dont go on much, find it quite difficult to navigate the site as well. ive put a message on and found them a bit up themselves! cant imagine them having virtual coffee mornings or just general chatting!

yes I thought that too. Seemed a bit aggressive, so I quickly came off there! I was looking at socatots though, they had a link on there. Looks like a fab club for the boys but it is not a walking distance and Terry doesn't want to have to take them every saturday!!! So i've just signed up to music bugs which is starting in my town next month.

i put the same post on there as what i put on here about not being able to bond with isaac and not being over the death of leighton and they basically told me to pull myself together and get over it! another 1 i joined and dont get on with is www.babyexpert.com, couldnt figure it out!

Nicola, heard very good things about soccatots and tempted to join up with will but i too am put off by losing my saturday lie in (not that i ever get one!!)

we have a football club from age 3 over the road at the church so I will wait for that I think as its on Monday afternoons. I was intrigued as they start at 6months so just wondered what Luka would be able to do?!! They have an open day but Terry is working as they have just opened a new club near us.

Claire, No wonder you didnt stick around there then.
Thats not very helpful at all.

I had a look at the looney lounge( yes i know i shouldnt have but my curiosity got the better of me, and Nigel was fast asleep on the sofa, so i was bored)

Its really hard to navigate and is no where near as fab as pp and they have bombarded me with emails ever since.

When i first got my laptop i signed up to all those sites you've mentioned but PP is by far the best and i don't bother with the others except cow and gate for the info on weaning and free stuff. PP rocks!!!!!!!!!

I use 2 others apart from this one babyworld but i stick to my AN club mostly and netmums as in the book group but i love how friendly it is on here

I use this one and another site which is just like this.... very very freindly!!! in fact we are all meeting up next week!! ( www.ctcparenting.com )
I have looked at other sites but like its been said they are very up themselves

i dont know why some of them go on the sites when they obviously know everything allready! might have a look at that site, ive never heard of it?

Claire, that is shocking that they treated you like that!! It's a good job that you found us!!!!

I first logged onto babyexpert because my friend gave me some prima baby mags. The forum is no where near as good as pp!

I have also tried to log onto other forums, but have never got on with any of them! PP is amazing! I have made so many good friends on here, I couldn't imagine using any other site now!
