My little Ayesha who is only turned 2 in March has announced she is not wearing nappies anymore. I cant believe it she has always been late at everything, not that i minded coz I knew she could do everything but that she just didnt want to. Now that Violet is five week old and still breastfeeding  I am having to potty train aswell.

I was overwelmed with pride and sadness that my baby is growing up I thought i'd be fighting to get nappies off of her at the age of 8. lol. I wasnt like this with Isabelle she was 2 and 10 months. she decided 2 potty train and we were both ready for it but she has always been indepentant so it didnt come as a shock. But my little Ayesha. I am soooo proud of my monkey though. She is even pooing in the potty and dry at night. outdoors is another story but I know in time it will be fine.

has anyone got any tips for venturing outside. she wont go on a toilet and it must be scary shes only a dot

That's great,Linz.Well done Ayeesha.Don't know what it is about the potty thing, you think they'll never work it out, makes you so chuffed when they do.Dry at night too's really good.If you're going out just take your potty. Some of mine have been wary of toilets for a while, even if they're completely confident on the potty.Have to say,I'm a bit wary of the ones in our High St myself.
Got to confess,I keep looking at your post, that picture of Violet's so cute.Looks like she's smiling. Can't believe she's 5 weeks already.

Well done Ayeesha!

Have just started with my little one,I take the potty everywhere, even 10 min walk to place where there are toilets-JUST IN CASE! My lil boy uses toilets in some places and not in others so just bought extra potty to live in car boot, and transfer to buggy shopping basket for our walks.

Good luck,it is sad but you'll save some pennies with only 1 in nappies!

isabelle just did it, I cant remeber what we did when we went out. i think I used to just take tonnes of spare clothes but she would go on a toilet. she is doing better every day. although if the potty out of sight then she does sometimes forget but she is holding on for longer now, I cant believe how grown up she looks.
