Hi all
Chantelle's new buggy has just arrived,we ordered it from mothercare online sunday, quick delivery i think.

We had to take back the one we originally got from babies r us as the front wheels stuck and went their own way(bruin alpin xl stroller)we got this as we had the old version for riley and it never let us down but this new one did.

So we were looking on line and this one which is the obabay atlas plus khaki check looked realy nice and was an online sale only so we got it.

I would never have done that as i like to try them out in the shop first. We had looked at a similar buggy in mothercare before.

Has anyone ever done something the same with baby items.
Just wondering.

xx

Hi - I bought my Quinny Zapp from eBay two and a half years ago now and it was fine. I got one in red from Germany when you could only buy them in orange and black in the UK. Got lots of envious looks!

My buggy story is horrible!!

i ordered it from the store 4 months before i gave birth, because i wanted everything sorted before Reuben arrived. I went to pick it up the week i was due, and took my mother with me. She opened the box in the store to make sure it was the right model etc, and decided to play a trick on me that it was the wrong colour (which wasn't a good idea when i was a waddling hormone machine haha!) So i went crazy, and then she calmed me down and said she was just joking, so i decided to calm down and look at it, and it WAS the wrong colour! ...So then i did go mental and had my little paddy and asked to speak to the manager, and all she could say was "colours sometimes vary from the ones in the brochures," ... It's a long sotry, but to cut it short i screamed at the manager that it was her fault i had high blood pressure and if i went into labour there and then it was all her fault!!

In the end it all worked out though, my mum sat me in the car so i was out of the way while she sorted it out and ordered me a new one, and now it's amazing and i love it. "Jane slalom pro," big chunky wheels so i can go on big long walks and don't have to stick to the path!!

Haven't dared go back into the shop since though =[

That is funny Yummiemummie!

When i went to by my pram there was another pregnant lady in the shop. Apparently it was her 3rd visit that week, and her 10th or 11th that month! The poor bloke was demonstrating (again) how to use eah of 4 different prams!! She was having a nightmare trying to decide! I knew exactly what I wanted, and that is what i got!!!

I thought I knew which pram / buggy I wanted but when I went with my parents to buy it I told the sales assistant that I knew precisely which was the most expensive, but I wanted to know which was best and that is the one I bought. Hubby was surprised but agreed in the end that we made the right choice.
