As both my children can't eat dairy products and hence milk chocolate I am looking for some easter present ideas please! Have you seen anything fun?

Hi Boo. There is always the obvious toy rabbit or chick, but that may be a bit boring. You could get them pretty much anything and put it in an egg shaped gift box, I think I've seen them around, or buy one that contains chocolate, eat the choccie yourself and use the box.

I'm not very up on the art of buying presents for children, but I have had to use my imagination when it comes to my parents as they like chocolate but you can still find last year's eggs around the place as my father hates wasting things, and scoffing chocolate and not savouring it is his idea of waste.

One of the items on that site gave me an idea for a diy gift, you could put treats such as sweets, hair bobbles stickers for Zoe and socks, small cuddly etc into an egg box (chicken egg box not choocie one)!!and perhaps decorate it!

Boo, (going off on a tangent slightly), did you ever find a replacement for bunny?
If not you could perhaps put one in a box like what Tasha suggested?

I saw a fab polystyrene egg in our local craftshop today, it's hollow and in two halves so would be lovely decorated with a gift inside. I'm sure hobby craft (sorry Em)! would sell them
