The Donkey wasn't at the zoo,he's just a cutie who lives near us!!!!!!

New job in tourism?Those lions are beautiful.I love lions,and giraffes.Howletts is our closest zoo and it has neither.It does have rhinos,last summer one aimed his rear at the crowd and sprayed.Which made the kids' day of course.Chester's supposed to be a good zoo,I heard

Ha-nah don't wanna job! Big fella had annual membership for his 40th ,christ we've been sooo much!!! It's brilliant,only just recently remembered camera

Got some good shots,but limited in skills putting pics on pc,so chose a few!!!! Lions are gorgeous.

Tom would have wet himself if Rhino sprayed him!!!!!!!!! Apparently Chester zoo is 1 of the top zoo's,but I haven't been to any others,so not sure! I love it there!!!

the flamingo pictures really cool!!

Our favourite zoo is colchester i love it, weve fed giraffes and elephants there, shock of my life on discovering giraffes have blue tongues!!! Pygmy hippo is dead cute too they had a baby there when we went last! oooh and 2 baby elephants they cant controll there trunks at all! Ok ill stop i just love the zoo!

It's amazing isn't it????? I used to take adifferent view on conservastion,and sometimes I walk round and see the animals and I imagine they're sad,and like lost the will to live-then you read the plaques and see how much good conservation has done for certain species....

ooh whoa too heavy for gone 10pm on a Thurs-Basically I NOW LOVE THE ZOO

colchester has an out of africa bit, and no word of a lie, you cant see from one side to the other, big open red sand elephants girrafe rhino gazelle all living together its an amazing exhibit, can sit for hours staring across that, BUT the most interesting thing Ive seen is the leaf cutter ants carrying cheerios!!!!!

Can imagine the kids faces,little line of cheerios walking away.

We're hoping to get Bridie a days' hands on experience at the zoo for her birthday.She loves animals and she's going to be a zoo vet when she's grown up.They don't do actual keeper days for kids there,but they take small groups of up to 8 kids with an adult for close up experiences.They get to see how they're fed,all that Should be nice.

that sounds fab jo! i did a keeper day for my 16th, was amazing!!!

I was 12 when we first saw the ants, we took my cousins and they were fascinated it was such a site, they still do it, offer them different things see what they like or just push in the water lol!
