omg they get worse. I've had a blow by blow account of my mil's piles...I had to actually stop her as it was far too graphic!

I've had my wardrobe emptied to make space for their clothes.

We got a matching salt and pepper pot from the charity shop for a present to say thank you for having them to stay for a whole week. I could cry my eyes out, I really could. Its me against the Edens now, tery regresses to his mums little boy when they arrive it is so infuriating. Plus im exhausted not manged much sleep with luka recently.

My only saving grace is four hours at work today!!!

OH NO Nicola, it all sounds worse than you'd thought this morning!

I have to sya i'm lucky with Gillan he's not a typical mummys boy and stands up to my mother in law when needed (she's actually ok so can't complain)

We'll all be here to support you this next week!! xx

they are so tight it is unbelievable. they had to go up to the council officers as you have to have parking permits round here, and he bought a book of 10 visitors permits for £10. So thats £1 for 24hrs parking not bad I don't think. anyway he was quibbling what time to start the ticket you have to write it on. So that he could string it out for another day. Well Ijust said all the time your standing here bloody arguing about it, I hope a traffic warden doesn't come along and book you? God never saw him move so fast!!!

Nicola hope they arent too much trouble for you. At least you can get away for a couple of hours at work, maybe you should tell them you are working late and stay away a little longer.

But its bringing back memories for me from Feb this year when my MIL came to stay to ' help out ' after my OP. Hope it goes quick for you. Can you do some extra hours at work and tell them that work need you!!!!

its hell on earth, the problem is im shattered at themo, and can't even relax in my own home!! they are looking after the boys fri afternoon, have to do their lunch, entertain them all afternoon do dinner and bed omg, im worried they've never done it before. I bet they go home saturday after that. heres hoping!

Oh no Nicola, know what you mean about in-laws though. Am very lucky as my hubbies parents are amazing and not having a dad of my own I share my father in law and hes very much like the dad I don;t have.

However my ex's parents were the in laws from hell, my ex did the regerssion to a little boy thing too and I was the woman from hell as far as my mil was concerned who focused on my career rather than her precious son!

Yes im at work til 8pm lucy and for once I don't mind!! They have all had a nice dinner together, im just having soup when I get in! I've just suggested by text that maybe terry ask his dad if we can use his credit card to order the new phil and teds. I was joking he said he's gonna ask him now!!!! He will go mad as they think im a shopaholic anyway and the boys are totally spoilt! lol.

its a nightmare when you have to weight on people all the time isn't it! still its not forever,the busier you are the quicker it will go!!! keep putting those extra hours in at work!

oh sarah that would be blissful!! Lucy, no reply maybe Terry was joking too. sad. Will have to wait to payday then order which mean will be without a double for at least another week and im on my own (with the bloody inlaws) ALL w/end. Terry working Fri, Sat and sun. joy of joys.

Mmm bad timing.

If they have to push Tate in a buggy, they might realise how much you need the P&T. Make sure Tate doesn't walk anywhere, so you can say how much you NEED another buggy

my mil isnt too bad, its MY parents that are the parents/mil/fil from hell. they will do NOTHING unless there is something in it for them, if someone is ill my dad is iller, hes been 'dying' since i was 11, im 29 now n hes still here! still 'ill'
