It was awful. I feel less bad for getting angry at Ayesha. I really shouted at her the other night and that was the owrst I would ever get with the kids. It boggles the mind to think anyone could do this.

My mum left my real dad before I was born because he was violent. It caused years of hassle but it was he best thing to do. He even tried to kill us both when I was 4 and when my mum was pregnant with my sister. Its only when you have kids yourself you realise the twistedness of it all, people without although they know its bad and feel sad esp those that want kids but it defo hits home when you have your own.

Thats terrible Linz. Good job she left him. I just don't know what makes people tick.

I mean we all get days when we get mad and sometimes shout without meaning it,thats only natural.

Yes it does hit home when you have your own I totally agree

It only hit me about a month ago about my dad I think its coz Isabelle is 4 and looks like me and I just couldnt get my head around it. So much so I ended up going to councilling. I am a fair believe that abused people/kids do not have to become abusers themselves. I

thanks, its surprising what you can take and cope with. My trick deal with one at a time. And not to overload my poor little head with too much thats when I tend to start going a bit nutty and go off on one. Poor Rob puts up with alot.

I was in tears when I read it, the animated baby really got to me. I was so furious, I found an online petition that is being signed in order to terminate the doctor as well as the social workers for neglecting their jobs. I really can't believe all these people let him down. Not only did he leave this world without knowing what love is, but he left with the thought that no one ever loved him. I pray that his soul is in eternal happiness, I believe he is in heaven in someone's loving arms.

It is really sad, and i too cant begin to imagine how you can harm a child in such an awful way. I hope justice is done to all who are involved and that they suffer for the rest of their lives. When I heard about it I took one long at Hollie playing away happily and it really upset me knowing that someone can harm an innocent child. He must have been through so much at the hands of people who should have loved him, and i too hope he has a better life in heaven.

All those involved should lose their jobs. How can you not notice that kind of abuse.I heard some excuse that the baby was so dirty hey couldn't see the bruises. What kind of excuse is that.Surely that's just another sign he's not being looked after. These things happen time and again and nothing seems to change. There's an enquiry.Things are supposed to improve, then a year later there's another story. At the other extreme you have kids taken off their parents on the say so of a specialist when there's no case of abuse at all. It's a horrible story but sadly it happens again and again and nothing seems to change to protect these kids.I'm all for releasing the "parents" in a very public place and letting the public do the same to them.Unfortunately the law respects their human rights

the one thing i find hard to grasp is surely in one of the visits the babies behaviour would show something, we have a family member who shouts alot and jj avoids him like the plague and on an occasion when they have picked him up he screamed and screamed, also i dont knw about any other toddlers, but when y midwife has visited jacks very shy and hides on my lap, if he was being treated badly surely he wouldnt act 'normal' around the adults! its all very worrying, that baby could hav a new family whod adore him and were desperate to be parents, i must stop writing as this is really upsetting me just looking at jacks x

I have heard this to and had only read in the paper a week or 2 ago about a little girl who was left to starve to death in the house abouve the pub her parents run while they had a great time and got drunk, the dog got better treatment, regular visits to the vet for health checks. The midwife went to social and all they did was send a letter saying it had been noted that there was a concern but dropped the case after 8wks as there was no other complaints. She died bless her poor mite, found in amoungst the dog bits.

I only to well know how social services have let the system down massivly. Thoes that know i was chans mum for 9mths of her life and now altho shes back with my mum and brother the relevant chaeck have yet to be done dispite the court granting my mum full custody(on the say so from social that she had been CRB checked). When it wa noted and went back to court a full investigation was ordered by the judge and an independant person to carry this out(it is under way) but its to late. We already know of a local case where a baby was taken away from the mum at birth(said to be unable to care for her) and given to the nan,she was never CRB checked and she killed the baby at only a wk or 2 old. The mum in the mean time was declaired fit to care for the baby(a problem in comunication from the hospital/antinatal care was at fault)never the less this mum lost her baby for no reason.

This is a big problem all round, mainly because the staff at social services are not properly qualyified and dont work under assistance. Most of them are training on the job(playing with kids lives realy).

Lastly on this i hate to think that social wont remove kids in a harmfull enviroment as they think it will improve yet they are quite hapy to take a chil out of a loving, happy family enviroment and put them into care just because they are on the podgy side(7 kids have been taken into care for being obese and its said the parents are goin to kill them if they keep eating like this)what about the ones who suffer abuse by the hand that dont feed them and the ones that should.

So sorry if i upset anyone with this but to much goes unheard.

Mel that is bad of,my dad got the same and his now a massive bloke,my brother steared to go the same way till he decided to start his lifeguard course and is now toning up and lost all the weight,my dad however aint and is a sorry state(mainly coz his lazy)

But i think obese kids will live a life of what ever sort, where social services are concerned they have it all wrong.
