we have a maclaren techno xt. it was families before we used it they had it for 3yrs and its a comfortable ride for a tall 3yr old and is fantastic for my son who has used it on and off since 10months, as being pregnant i cant lug his big buggy about, and the xt is nice and light, it reclines almost flat, has adjustable handle height and folds easily and compact we have used it once with a buggy board and that worked fine! the best feature i find is the hood can unzip and pulls far forward fantastic if your caught without raincover or sunshade! also is just as menouverable as my 3wheeler have also borrowed a silver cross pop and its extreely heavy and hard to lay down, and also weighty to push seemed like it was stuck in mud!
emma, like mel says obaby are cheap but v good. i have an obaby and have recently bought an obaby buggy board. i wouldnt be without them now. good luck
