I really feel like Ive got some new friends thanks to practical parenting. Its a great way to put people in touch by being part of this forum.
So much so, Tasha and myself live fairly close, so we've decided to get together with the kids. We're meeting up next Monday in a play centre, and I cant wait. I was just saying to her the other day that its going to be like meeting a pen friend.

Maybe it'll encourage others to maybe meet each other who live close by.

its fantastic being able to come on here and share the highs and lows of parenting with others, and people are bothered to read and reply. Sometimes with friends that you see all the time, some things seem trivial so you dont bother saying it, but on here we chat about all sorts, and thats what i enjoy. I can let off steam and feel better about it.

Cant wait till Monday. Im so excited.

Aahhh Kas that's lovely! I feel the same about PP i originally came on here simply looking for advice on Ambers eating i had no idea it would lead to me being on the computer every night chatting to friends and actually meeting a friend in 'real life'!!!!

I've been showing your pics to Ethan and he says he's got a new friend called Niamh and Amber has a new friend called Tara!! It will be lovely to see them together!

PP should help organise a special PP holiday weekend at Centreparcs so everyone could meet up. Obviously not for free but if they made facilities for a meet up they could put it in their magazine.

I'd had a similar thought Boo! I've told my sister about 'us regulars' and she thinks PP should get us all together for a meet up for a feature it would be good promotion for the forum, i hope someone from pp reads this!!

I think thats a really good idea. Ive never been part of a forum before, and when I first joined, thought this was massive, but have since been told its tiny in comparison to most forums, but I like it like this. You know who you are talking to.

Love the idea of a meet up!! Maybe we ought to email pp and see what they say.
Cant wait till Monday, Good idea Zoe, will take my camera along.

I'd be really up for that, so long as I'm not back at school. I would be gutted if they did it and I missed it due to being at work!

Well if pp dont organise anything then maybe we should.
Lets see what happens and if not, work out something before everyone returns to work
It would be lovely to meet everyone. And as I'm totally clueless with computers no one knows what myself or my children look like( which may not be a bad thing)

I have been looking at Value rooms in the travelodge, some do £26 or even £19 a night rooms. They usually have child friendly restaurants with kids play areas.

I have emailed PP with our idea. I have been doing nothing all afternoon and thought I would get the ball rolling!!!
