i just thought i would mention, the new george at asda advert was filmed at joshs school.  not only did they not use a single child from hogarth primary where it was filmed, the kids were rude, the staff making the advert were rude, pushy and arrogant. during the 3 days it took to film the kids couldnt play on the grass because of the filming which they were constantly hosing down to turn it into mud for the advert and consequently couldnt play on it for some time after as they had turned it into a mud bath!

What a shame that they choose to use the school to film but didn;t use some of the kids who actually attend the school - guessing the school got paid for it?

the grand some of £1000, plus they left the goal posts for the school that they used in the filming. in the process asda also lost a lot of customers through the way the parents were spoken to by the people making the advert and the way they treated the kids that actually went to the school it was being filmed at

You'd think in the age of so much competition they'd be very careful about  alienating potential customers

Maybe worth complaining to Asda head office as I'm sure it was an outside agency booked to do the ad and they should be aware of the issues, as it is making Asda look bad and not the production company.  If the same company are used each time they do an advert and they treat everyone with the same contempt it is damaging their brand and they will not like that, especially in the difficult times that are around and ahead.

That's bad. Maybe as Nicolette said contact head office, may get some gift vouchers too

Asda Customer services don't know the meaning of customer service!!!

From past experience I wouldn't expect any joy from them!!!
