Hi girls.  It has been a bit of an exciting few days Chez Nous.  Not only is Catalina starting to pull herself up onto her feet using the furniture but that has led us to having to enlarge her cot (we've got the Stokke Sleepi Mini and kit) so now she is in a 'big' bed but she is also now sharing a room with her big brother which ought to prove interesting for the first few nights until they both get used to it, and then when one of them is sick in the night...  I spent last night in the top bunk to prevent Catalina from waking Bon when she woke for a feed, which she still does, the minx, but got a good system worked out for lighting that won't disturb Bon.  She's growing up so fast!

Catalina is taking to food like a duck to water after her early weaning issues.  She is now akin to a dustbin - she will eat anything.  She will eat fruit that is too tart for me to even eant to taste let alone finish.  I was worried that she was losing weight, now I am worried that she's going to be fat!

On a more general note, went to the Gant sample sale today, bought items for an average of £5.45 each.  Such good value as it is all so well made, the kids clothing is made to the same patterns as the adult, just smaller.

Half term this week - what fun!

Gosh Nicolette, your title's quite right, where has the time gone since Catalina was born??Thats great how moblie she's getting and very eciting about her new room with Bon. My two now share and we've had no trouble at all, in fact i don't hink they'd be able to sleep without the other one now!

I'm so pleased that Catalinas weaning is gonig well, i wouldn't wish weaning problems on anyone i know how worrynig it can be so am delighted she loves her food!!

Ok am i just odd not to know but what's Gant?!

xx xx

Hi Tasha.  Gant is an American designer brand, not very well known over here which is great for when I am accidentally head to toe because I'm not thinking in the morning, no one can tell!  It started as a men's brand then branched into boys, women, girls and homewares, a bit preppy some of it, tons of rugger shirts and 'slacks' and jeans, but the men's dress shirts are beautifully made, the women's tops are generally really good and the knitwear is to die for.  And all of it, save silk and wool, will go in the tumble dryer.   I'm trying to think of an equivalent brand and failing, something between Timberland and Calvin Klein I suppose, so the warehouse sale is always anticipated with enthusiasm!
