Virus

Thought I'd better warn you I got a virus today through MSN from somebody who uses this forum. It was to click on a link and said something like "Is this you..." and included my email address. She still has problems with her computer and I don't think she can stop it send ing the virus at the moment. Don't want to say who it is unless you PM me if you have a problem yourself.

Hi Boo,

I think this one has been going round for a bit, James had an email from work a while back warning you not to open it if it came.

I hope you are not affected by it.

Well my virus checker picked it up and I 'cleaned' the computer and it says it is gone but I have closed MSN anyway in the hope that if I have got it it won't be able to send anything. I am sorry if I have inadvertedly sent it to someone.

I take it this person hasn't sent it to you on purpose?? That wouldn't be on.

No this person is lovely and it was purely an accident! Infact I probably would have sent it to all you lot if I had'nt got a beep load of virus checkers running and was a bit suspicious anyway as the same message to click on the link was repeated a number of times.

I'm glad to hear that, fowl play wouldn't be nice.

I hope the person's computer isn't too badly damaged by the virus and gets back to normal soon.
