So what did you always say you wanted to do when you were little and what did you end up doing (apart from being supermummies of course!!!)

I always wanted to be a nurse, until I was about 10! Then I wanted to be a teacher, but never made it as couldn't stick it at school!!!

I always wanted to be a police officer. I did make it, but after 3 years I decided I was too much of a wimp and did'nt have a thick enough skin, so I left.

Now I just want to be a good mum( sorry thats a bit cheesy )

when i "grow up" I wanted to be a teacher and never wanted kids - just a big house like the ones my dad used to do gardening for

i wanted to be a nurse, then a brain surgeon, then a hairdresser, then a tattooist. realised i couldnt draw so that put the stopper on being a tattooist! i ended up studying law, went on to be a nightclub bouncer then had kids!

I have always wanted to be a police dog handler. Ended up in uni doing a vet nursing degree, did 2 years of that then changed to animal biology 3rd year then quit uni altogther with just over a year to go. Cant say my mam and dad were very impressed, especially as i chose a uni 400miles away.

Now i am still hoping to be a police officer and work my way up to be a dog handler. It's supposed to be very hard to get there though, and they have changed the rules so that i would need to work as an officer for 5 years, traffic for another 5 then i am entitled to apply. Dont know if i will ever get there but i will give it my best shot.

a ex of mine was in traffic, he came home bawling his heart out once, hed been to a accident involving a baby, they couldnt find the baby until they put the car on the tow truck and found its body wrapped round the cars axle. i was studying law to do traffic police/scene of crime but that put me off. imagine telling the family?!

When I was a kid I was always being told that I would make a good teacher. I wanted to be a lady vicar, a travel agent, a football pysio and back to teacher. I was going to teach primary but changed my mind literally overnight!

I used to help out at the local sunday school, a friend always tells me that the day i walked into church in my dungarees and doc marten boots with the kids walking crocodile fashion in pairs, she knew then that i would be a teacher!!!!

I always wanted kids too, and would give everything up for them should I ever come into money!!!!

Good post - great fun to read!

I told my Mum that i wanted to be a teacher and get married but was determined never to leave home so my husband would have to live with me and mum and dad!

Well...............I couldn't wait to leave home at 19 moved straight in with Adam, went to uni to be a designer, got my degree and pregnant (!) and now own 3 shops!!! Now when I grow even older I again want to be a designer!!
