Hi everyone! I'm new to this website and I was pretty nervous thinking about posting this. I have never opened up to anyone on this subject because it's hard for me Talk about. I've been trying to conceive for almost 3 years. I'm healthy and normal and so is my husband. But we just can't seem to get it right. I see my friends get pregnant all the time and it breaks my heart, as bad as that sounds. I'm happy for them but I can't help but wonder why not me? Why do I have to live with the constant worry that I'll never be the one thing I've always wanted to be, a mom. I went to get a pap smear and a check up and my doctor said everything is normal and good. Why can't o get pregnant?? I don't have a lot of money to spend on specialists or multiple doctor visits. I need some encouragement.. Or maybe tell me some weird ways you got pregnant or if it took you a long time! I feel like the only one even tho I know I'm not 😞

Hi kaylenerose42, i am in the same situation. Im new to this website too. I understand exactly where you are coming from i had a miscarriage 4 months ago (only took me 2 months to fall pregnant, i didnt expect it)and whilst i was going through that and even now ive notice/d that everyone seams to be getting pregnant including my sister! I am happy for her but im thinking the same as you why cant it be me. I come across so selfish but thats not the case. It feels like im never going to be a mummy. Im 11 days late with a few pregnancy symptoms but ive taken two cheap tests and they have come back negative so im so confused and just wish i knew one way or another. Try not to think about getting pregnant too much, eventhough its easier said than done. People say when you put it to the back of your mind it will happen rather than worrying about it.
Baby dust to you! Hope i can find out whats happening with me! Xx

What sort of checks have you had?
Do you use ovulation prediction kits, or temp?
It may just be a basic tweak you need to make.
It may be that you need to get some more complex or thorough checks. A pap smear wouldn't really give much info on fertility. It just looks at cervical health (highly important, but not particularly revealing in your case).
